Not only was she confident, poised, stunningly beautiful and intelligent, but she was sincere and kind. She took the time to make everyone feel like they were very important to her.
I, like every singer, always wanted to be just like her. Her voice was perfect. Strong but soothing. Soulful and classic. Her vibrato, her cadence, her control. So many of my life’s memories are attached to a Whitney Houston song. She is our queen and she opened doors and provided a blueprint for all of us.
The sad news has hit the world. The great Whitney Houston was found dead today at her hotel room. The singer was found unresponsive at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The cause of death has not been determined yet. Whitney Houston was in town in part to attend Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammys party. What a devestating loss to the world and to the world of music. Whitney was my idol growing up, I always thought so had the most amazing, incredible voice ever!! I always wished I had a voice as powerful as Whitney. The media attacked Whitney and put her under a microscope and picked her apart. No matter what they have said about her and her personal life, she was an absolute icon, a legend and a beautiful soul. May she Rest in Peace and I hope she knows we will always love her. Her music is our gift and will be bumping all over the world to honor her legacy....Another one gone too soon. This Black History month has been rough with losing Don Cornelius now Whitney Houston? WTF?????? Tragic, tragic news!!! I included some of my favorite Whitney songs!!

I was watching a dance movie last night and found this online. Chris Brown dances to Rick James "Cold Blooded" I like when young people incorporate some old skool into their lives...LOL Rick James was a wild one but you couldn't deny his talent and contribution to the music world. Anyway Chris Brown really has some moves. He is a terrific dancer and of course he is a great singer too. Chris Breezy is one of my favorite artists out here period! He has so much more to give us and I can't wait to hear his new album set to drop soon. Stay tuned for that!! I give his dance crew two thumbs way the hell up!! If you watched the Superbowl last week you probably tuned in for all the commercials. If you were like me I was tired of the hype over the few ads that were supposed to be the best. I am not a fan of certain models and I could give a damn less when they flaunt their bony ass bodies all over the screen. I know alot of blockheads watch the Superbowl and maybe would have not gotten the meaning behind this commerical here but are people that stupid. If you do not get what this ad is saying umm you cannot be serious? Anything as important as protecting yourself during sex should never been banned but rather promoted!! We as a nation should be outraged that things to protect us are banned...wake up people wake the fuck up!!!

There are so many dislikes on this song but you know what I like Somaya Reece, she is the only reason I watch Love and Hip Hop. I think she is so cool and creative.
