I have this song downloaded and listen to it daily.  I was surprised to see a video for it....This song gets in my head and I am singing "Man I Love this Shit" all day long over and over again.  August has a nice voice and putting Trinidad James on the track was the best move.  I love his rap style and his laidback attitude shines thru his music.  His verses in this song are priceless.  Look out for these two artists doing their things in collaborations and solo. Again this has been one of my favorite songs for the last few weeks.  I truly do love this shit...I give this song and video two thumbs way the hell up!! I stumbled across this video and glad I did.  I am always looking for new music from some of my favorite artists and Miguel is one of those artists.  I have heard several tracks off his latest album and it is a very good album.  You should go check it out.  This video entitled "Candles in the Sun" The video is a very good visual look into things that goe on in our society.  The lyrics are great and true so so true.  I like the message and this song reminds me of Prince's "Sign of the Times"  I give this song and video two thumbs way the hell up!! I am so grateful for a song like this at this time in my life.  My mother is very very ill and this song speaks words that I feel everyday watching her slip away.  I am in love with the lyrics and so glad Mariah put out this song.  She has matured and has kept to her true talent.  I am not understanding all the you tube comments that are saying this was not good.  I think it is excellent and it happens to be the song for a Disney soundtrack entitled Oz the Great and Powerful.  I can't wait to see this movie!!  Mariah looks and sounds great.  I say hell yea to this song.  I give it two thumbs way the hell up!! RIP Donald Byrd

We lost a legend this week.  Donald Byrd left us some great music and memories to cherish. There are so many Hip Hop artists inspired by Mr. Byrd's infectious sound.  His influence can be heard in many of these artists songs which sampled his music.  You should visit WhoSampled.com  to see how many acts sampled Donald Byrd's music which included DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, A tribe called Quest and son many more. Along with being a jazz giant Mr. Byrd also has two masters degrees including a law degree. In 1973, he created The Blackbyrds, a fusion group consisting of his best students. Wel known rapper Gucci Mane attended a career day event for am Atlanta middle school. Soon after his visit the pics of Gucci in the classroom hit the net.  Soon after the pics and info hit the net...the memes were plastered all over different social networking sites.  The first thing I thought when I saw these pics of Gucci Mane was that he looked pregnant. I know thats a mean thing to say but damn wth and wtf...has this man been eating and drinking.  I guess the rap money is pouring in for him.  Anyway here we go.... The crazy part about this is that parents are not happy with the choice of speaker but this is what gets me...they hate on Gucci Mane speaking to their kids but look at the high school teacher in Ala that went in on the First Lady's ass and talked about gays like they were the scum of the earth.  That is a paid teacher teaching your kids and you are mad at a rapper/business man coming to talk to your kids.....CMON get your priorities in focus PEOPLE!!!!

Ted was on Jimmy Kimmel live a few weeks ago and he is so funny. I love how they make him look so real.  You have got to see the movie "Ted" is was so hilarious.  The things he did in that movie made Ted down for whateva....LOL Go get "Ted" on DVD or Blu-Ray it is worth seeing..trust me!!
