I searched the different sites looking for new music to post and I came across this gem of a song.  I do mean GEM.  This song is hip hop genius for 2013.  The way Kendrick killed this track....DAMN!! This song should be playing in heavy rotation on radio stations across the country.  I give them mad respect and props for the lyrics in this song.  I love this song already!!  It would be so great to see a video for this song....we shall see if that will happen.  Anyway I had to post this song cuz it hit a chord with me and I wanted others to hear this wonderful track!!  This is a brilliant collabo!!! All I can say is A$AP Rocky is bringing back hope for the NYC rap scene which has been dead since the 1980's.  Well thats just my opinion.  I wasn't a huge fan of the 90's or 00's rap.  I would rather be a fan of 80's rap and today's rap.  At any rate I came for A$AP Rocky but stayed for P. Reign who hails from Canada and is Drake's friend and even opened shows for Drake in Canada.  The video looks like it was shot on a cold ass day...I remember how cold the NorthEast got....no I don't miss it.  I like the song and the video is cool with me too.. I give this video two thumbs way the hell up!! Enjoy!!

Flo Rida ft Future - 'Tell Me When You Ready' [Official Music Video]

 

I have been liking this song for a while now.....I am the biggest Future fan so anything he adds his vocal bars to makes me happy.  I think Flo rida gonna gain a lot of street cred with Future up in the track.  It's all good they all looked like they has a blast making the video.  Its super turnt up!!! What Ashanti and Future together on a track....Brilliance.  I love everything Future puts his voice too....LOL This track has the potential to go very far if the radio stations are willing to play it and let people hear the song.  I instantly fell in love with it.  I give the song two thumbs way the hell up!! I would love a video for this song....lets see if they make it happen.  Enjoy!!

Yea new music from Trey Songz....I am really feeling this song...it has a nice flow to it.  I've been waiting for some new music from him but I understand Trey has been getting his Hollywood on by doing two movies.  I can't wait to see Baggage Claim with Paula Patton in it and of course with Trey in it too.  Hopefully Trey will drop a new album soon.  At any rate I like this song I give it two thumbs way the hell up!! I loved this song when I heard the first cut of it with Mario and Nicki Minaj.....but I think adding Chris Brown makes it that much better.  I am glad to see Mario still making records.  I am hoping a video comes out with Nicki Mario and Chris....Great song and a catchy ass beat...Gottaluvthis!!! This song right here is a classic.....DJ Gerald Simpson better known as A guy called Gerald who became best known for his early work in the Manchester acid house scene in the late 1980s and the track "Voodoo Ray". At that time, he specialised in techno music produced using equipment such as the Roland TB-303 bass synthesiser and the TR-808 drum machine. Source Wikipedia.  This song had so many influences in its sound that it can be considered timeless.  I saw many youtube comments from people of all ages enjoying this track... 2 Chainz - Feds Watching (Explicit) ft. Pharrell Williams

 

I love this video..it kinda reminds me of a James Bond type of flow....2Chainz brought it big time with this song and visual aspects....Wow I did not realize how tall 2Chainz is...hes got some long ass legs...damn.... The video is what I would describe as classy but stylish.  I read some youtube comments and somebody asked if they are the only one who sees if he really wears two chains.  I said damn I do that too and I count the chains he wears if its more than two I say WTF??? LOL  I been liking this song for a few weeks now and Im glad a good video was made for it.  I give two thumbs way the hell up to 2Chainz for the song and the video...I didn't know Pharreal was on the song.  I am glad to see him involved in so many projects.  Enjoy!!

Austin Brown - Volcano

 

If you hear one of the greatest singers in the world in the voice of Austin Brown.....you have wonderful ears.  Austin Brown is the nephew of the one and only Michael Jackson.  He has released a full length mixtape a few months ago entitled "Highway 85"....You have got to hear this mixtape.  From the mixtape I posted this song called "Volcano" because it is one of my favorites off the mixtape.  Austin is an amazing singer and he definitely can be the annointed one to one again bring the Jackson sound to the masses and future generations.  Look out for more from Austin.....I give this song two thumbs way the hell up!! Beautiful Mariah Carey ft. Miguel (Covered by Clara C & Paul Kim)

 

I love this cover....they are so good together.  I am not saying they are near as vocally equipped as Miguel or Mariah but they did a damn good cover.  What is really interesting is that Paul Kim went on American Idol and sang Shai" If I ever fall in love" andhe blew the judges away.....They all gave him a yes to Hollywood.  He has a pretty good voice and this video is cute and simple too....all around one of my favorite covers of a song in a while.  Why some people gotta be so negative when they hear covers of songs....Its called a cover for a reason..no one is trying to outdo the original song...a cover is done to honor the original song.  Some things need to be explained I guess....at any rate the song is great and the cover is cool.  I give this song and the video two thumbs way the hell up!! When I first heard this song I thought oh hell naw they used Usher's "Can you handle it" and I immediately thought no they didn't.  As I listened to this song and heard Chris Brown's voice on this song....I was instantly drawn in!!  This is a noce song by Problem and DJ Drama always premieres the hottest music...I don't know if a video will be made for this song but we shall see....I give this song two thumbs way the hell up!! OMG I love Chris Brown's dance moves....he is amazing....all I can say about this song and video is it is brillant.  I love how he shows all the sides of the bloods and crips and unity above all is the power we can have to stop gun violence in these streets.  He incorporated so many elements and themes in this video that I just call it one of the best videos I have seen in a long ass time!! I give the song and video two thumbs way the hell up!!! Love Aaliyah in the song and the Jon B reference with the lyrics "Don't listen to what people say"....Greatness right there!!! Enjoy!!

I am a big fan of Macy Gray and I was thrilled beyond belief when I heard her cover of this song.  I love the original version which is Awolnation featuring Kendrick Lamar and Ab Soul.  I am featuring both to celebrate the similarities as well as the differences both versions bring to the table.  I can't really say that I like one better than the other they both have their uniqueness.   I did hear Awolnation's version first.  At the end of the day it is all about the music.  It is a killer ass song love it.  I wish some visuals were made for this song.  I give the song and both versions two thumbs way the hell up!! Happy birthday to the living legend Prince!!!!Well his birthday was 6/7 so I am a little late posting but let me tell you this man sure makes 55 look awesome!! This man is the definition of amazing if you can go see him in concert...its mind blowing shit how talented of an artist Prince really is.  He is one of our greats and deserves the title ICON.  I love the message in his new song and the 3rdeyegirls really know how to rock!!!! I don't know why this song doesn't have more views then it has....this is a hell of a track.  Just the fact that Dr. Dre is on this track with Kendrick Lamar should be the talk of the town.  I love how the song has the 1970's type of vibe.  It reminds me of one of the old blaxplotation theme song.  Never the less I wanted to add the video with the lyrcs included because the wordplay on the verses are fantastic.  I give this song two thumbs way the hell up!! Future killing it for real for real.....Okay heres the scenario your riding in your car on a hot summer day with your badass speaker system bumping this song....what could get better...I tell you what no one was expecting Future to keep belting out these catchy tunes but guess what it looks like he aint stopping.  More power to him, he is my favorite artist thats out right now. Casino ex drug dealer adds his own lil magic to the track too....I am so glad a video was made for this song....its seems to be very budget friendly but oh well the song is the shit!!!
