I am Greek and love to cook Greek food. The only thing with this recipe is I would not add dill maybe a pinch of it. Also get Feta cheese from a Greek grocer. The supermarket Feta is a watered down rendition of the real thing. Feta should be creamy and tangy. MMM Enjoy!!!

I used to live outside of the Washington DC area and this kind of thing happens all the time.  The place where personal liberities should be honored (so you would think).  This reminds me and takes me back to the 80's  when the breakdancers that I hung out with in Baltimore always got harassed by the cops. They hated to see people dancing but loved people shooting each other up.. I guess D.C. has the same mindset..hmmm  I dont know if this is a twisted way of control and power our law officials use against citizens.  I say keep on dancing and don't ever ever ever let them stop the music!!

Big Black Dog Syndrome- You have got to be kidding me

Ok I thought I was hearing things when I was watching the Dog Whisperer and Cesar Millan he said that many black dogs are not adopted because of the stigma placed on Black dogs.  I couldn't believe my ears so I went online and did some research.  OK what is wrong with the HUMAN ANIMAL.  There is a syndrome called the Big Black Dog Syndrome in which black dogs are not adopted due to the fact that people associate their color with evil.  I thought I was reading some simple ass shit...how ignorant are we humans???? I am so ashamed to be a Human being sometimes.  How the hell does a black dog or any color dog symbolize anything??? WOW so I went to Wikipedia and read about this syndrome.  "There's not a lot of that type of statistics on many aspects of sheltering," says Kim Intino, the director of animal sheltering issues for the Humane Society of the United States. "But I think that every person that has worked in a shelter can attest that in shelters animals with black coats can be somewhat harder to adopt out — or to even get noticed." So we have transferred our sick discrimination onto the animal kingdom now...WTF???

 Where do these beliefs stem from well In British folklore, such as stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sir Walter Scott, the black dog is a creepy, spectral figure that haunts cemeteries and is an omen of death. Another Englishman, Winston Churchill, battled serious bouts of depression which he called "the black dog." We have to be aware of all the knowledge or entertainment we are exposing ourselves to and understand the cultural biases and ideals are now being marketed to us and we as uninformed consumers are buying into these ideals even supporting them with our hard earned dollars.  I will not be brainwashed by their foolishness, my daughter just bought a beautiful black dog and I will do the same when I am ready for another dog.  Remember information is power!!!

While the reality starts are celebrated in America, Italy is definitely not following suit; their reception has been far from warm. A headline from local magazine, Corriere Fiorentino, blared “The Super Buffoons Arrive,” and goes on to say, “The eight most famous jerks in America are arriving in the most refined city in Italy and perhaps in the world. If the Jersey Shore guys do what has made them famous, there will be trouble.”

Ok I am a Jersey Shore fan and I know they get a lot of slack for going to the gym, tanning and doing laundry but they are young AMERICAN adults having fun.  Italy doesnt want them in Italy because of their reputation and their americanized attitudes.  MTV should have not allowed the next season to be filmed there.  The Italians have voiced thier voices and don't want Jersey Shore there (even though its the #1 show in America) awww the Italians what can you say.  I lived there and HATED ITALY.  They are haters of Americans and there classiness is wearing fur coats in 90 degree weather, not bathing and being dumb as a doorknob.  The Jersey Shore cast is more intelligent then the whole country combined.  They have leaders who buy underage prostitutes while in office and then have the nerve to say the Jersey Shore cast is not wanted.  Many of the areas have been deemed off limits to film...I say MTV needs to pull the plug on Italy.  I spent 3 years in that backwards ass hell hole. From the looks on the cast members faces I dont know how they will like that place!!!
