While the reality starts are celebrated in America, Italy is definitely not following suit; their reception has been far from warm. A headline from local magazine, Corriere Fiorentino, blared “The Super Buffoons Arrive,” and goes on to say, “The eight most famous jerks in America are arriving in the most refined city in Italy and perhaps in the world. If the Jersey Shore guys do what has made them famous, there will be trouble.”
Ok I am a Jersey Shore fan and I know they get a lot of slack for going to the gym, tanning and doing laundry but they are young AMERICAN adults having fun. Italy doesnt want them in Italy because of their reputation and their americanized attitudes. MTV should have not allowed the next season to be filmed there. The Italians have voiced thier voices and don't want Jersey Shore there (even though its the #1 show in America) awww the Italians what can you say. I lived there and HATED ITALY. They are haters of Americans and there classiness is wearing fur coats in 90 degree weather, not bathing and being dumb as a doorknob. The Jersey Shore cast is more intelligent then the whole country combined. They have leaders who buy underage prostitutes while in office and then have the nerve to say the Jersey Shore cast is not wanted. Many of the areas have been deemed off limits to film...I say MTV needs to pull the plug on Italy. I spent 3 years in that backwards ass hell hole. From the looks on the cast members faces I dont know how they will like that place!!!
