Trap music for real....if you dont know about this you better get on it.  Alot folks talk about this music like it aint real hip hop.  Alot 90's cats talk about this music doesn't have the essence of hip hop and don't talk about issues.  One thing I can say is trap music is not trying to outdo the 90s hip hop movement.  I think instead it is creating its own subgenre with its own type of beats and lyrics that you party off of instead of riot off of. At least trap music is being created without stealing or using other songs as the underlying beat and rapping over it like the 90s hip hop did back in the day.  Call it what you want if you aint feeling Gucci's flow on this song....you need to go smoke you one chill and sit back relax, take it the music.  I love Migos and this song is a bonafied winner in my book.  I give the song and the video two thumbs way the hell up!! In my opinion this is the best track on the CD.  I like a few other songs but this one stands out to me, I think its the beat that is so cool.  Jay-Z had his concert last night in Atlanta.  I bet that was a hell of a night.  There are alot of people that wanna focus on the whole Barney's situation but you know what I can't comment on that topic.  I like to focus on the music and stay clear from the gossip.  I am just happy with artists that continue sharing their work with us. I am not a big Jay-Z fan but I do appreciate good songs when I hear them.  I give this song two thumbs way the hell up! Enjoy!!

Kendrick Lamar is in his own league....He is the truth also he got my man Ab-Soul in this cypher. I have alot songs downloaded by Ab-Soul he is one of my favorite rappers out these days. The Real Hollywood husbands cypher was funny as hell. This is gonna be my new motto for my life starting right now....the  "I don't give a fuck" movement.   It is gonna be just like 2 Chainz expresses in this video!!  Why do we care about the dumbest topics out here? What do they matter in our everyday activities.  I like 2 Chainz he just seems like hes a normal laid back type of dude trying to go out here and make his money.  Gotta have mad respect for someone doing them and not worried about the bullshit out here... In case you werent aware of this yet, Drake just dropped his latest album and this song is my favorite on the CD.  The video is a really cool mini movie...I guess Drake wanted to showcase his acting ability to remind us that he really is a triple threat in the industry. On his new CD there are a lot of songs they have been playing on the radio so some of the songs will sound familiar to you.  Also Drake appeared on Chelsea Lately, if you get to catch the interview it was good.  Their energy together was fun to watch  I give the song and the video two thumbs way the hell up!! Ok I am on this huge Migos kick but this song right here has to be my favorite song by the group.  I dont know what it is about this song but it hits me deep deep deep....  I dedicate this song to my mom who I lost 7 months ago and to my father who I lost 7 years ago....These guys are gonna be hot they already got that smash song Versace with Drake but if you havent heard their other songs you are missing out.  This is some real southern smoke right here!!  I am bumping all of Migos tracks right now they gonna be the next big thing coming out of the ATL! Ok so I have been a Future freak ever since his first break through song "Tony Montana". I have listened to Future every day of my life for the past 2 years, yea I guess you can say I am obsessed over his music.  I love his voice...it is the shit!! In this video for "Honest" I am loving the concept and the wadrobe selections.  I think I expected a more street type video production so this is a nice surprise.  It is different in a really good way.  I swear I am constantly searching for tracks that Future has collaborated on.  He has alot of good songs and collabos out here.  I will continue to listen to Future everyday I can....lol I give the song and the video two thumbs way the hell up!! I had to post this video....this some dope shit right here..the song has a really good message and the video is done in such good taste.  It is nice to see a meaningful video  like this once in a while.  Gives us a break from all the monotonous commercially pushed music that we are exposed to on a daily basis.  I looked up Dizzy on Wikipedia and found out that he is related to Bones thugs and Harmony's own Lazyie boy.   In December 2011 he signed to rapper Hopsins independent record label Funk Volume.  Dizzy has released his latest mixtape entitled "The Golden Age"....go get it now!  I give this song and video two thumbs way the hell up!! I love A$AP Rocky....and I happened to find this video of A$AP Ferg featuring A$AP Rocky and I immediately got hooked into the track.  I remember Shabba Ranks music so much that I downloaded Mr. Loverman a few days ago.  So while watching this video I see this man in the video dancing and looking very familiar to me.  I researched and found out that the real Shabba Ranks is in this video.  They were able to get the 90's singer to appear in a video about him....Isn't that some cool shit!! I love the song even more....the video is silly and looks like they had alot fun making this oh and Shabba's dance moves are funny as hell!!...I give the song and video two thumbs way the hell up!! I searched the different sites looking for new music to post and I came across this gem of a song.  I do mean GEM.  This song is hip hop genius for 2013.  The way Kendrick killed this track....DAMN!! This song should be playing in heavy rotation on radio stations across the country.  I give them mad respect and props for the lyrics in this song.  I love this song already!!  It would be so great to see a video for this song....we shall see if that will happen.  Anyway I had to post this song cuz it hit a chord with me and I wanted others to hear this wonderful track!!  This is a brilliant collabo!!! All I can say is A$AP Rocky is bringing back hope for the NYC rap scene which has been dead since the 1980's.  Well thats just my opinion.  I wasn't a huge fan of the 90's or 00's rap.  I would rather be a fan of 80's rap and today's rap.  At any rate I came for A$AP Rocky but stayed for P. Reign who hails from Canada and is Drake's friend and even opened shows for Drake in Canada.  The video looks like it was shot on a cold ass day...I remember how cold the NorthEast got....no I don't miss it.  I like the song and the video is cool with me too.. I love this video..it kinda reminds me of a James Bond type of flow....2Chainz brought it big time with this song and visual aspects....Wow I did not realize how tall 2Chainz is...hes got some long ass legs...damn.... The video is what I would describe as classy but stylish.  I read some youtube comments and somebody asked if they are the only one who sees if he really wears two chains.  I said damn I do that too and I count the chains he wears if its more than two I say WTF??? LOL  I been liking this song for a few weeks now and Im glad a good video was made for it.  I give two thumbs way the hell up to 2Chainz for the song and the video...I didn't know Pharreal was on the song.  I am glad to see him involved in so many projects.  Enjoy!!

If you hear one of the greatest singers in the world in the voice of Austin Brown.....you have wonderful ears.  Austin Brown is the nephew of the one and only Michael Jackson.  He has released a full length mixtape a few months ago entitled "Highway 85"....You have got to hear this mixtape.  From the mixtape I posted this song called "Volcano" because it is one of my favorites off the mixtape.  Austin is an amazing singer and he definitely can be the annointed one to one again bring the Jackson sound to the masses and future generations.  Look out for more from Austin.....I give this song two thumbs way the hell up!! I love this cover....they are so good together.  I am not saying they are near as vocally equipped as Miguel or Mariah but they did a damn good cover.  What is really interesting is that Paul Kim went on American Idol and sang Shai" If I ever fall in love" andhe blew the judges away.....They all gave him a yes to Hollywood.  He has a pretty good voice and this video is cute and simple too....all around one of my favorite covers of a song in a while.  Why some people gotta be so negative when they hear covers of songs....Its called a cover for a reason..no one is trying to outdo the original song...a cover is done to honor the original song.  Some things need to be explained I guess....at any rate the song is great and the cover is cool.  I give this song and the video two thumbs way the hell up!! OMG I love Chris Brown's dance moves....he is amazing....all I can say about this song and video is it is brillant.  I love how he shows all the sides of the bloods and crips and unity above all is the power we can have to stop gun violence in these streets.  He incorporated so many elements and themes in this video that I just call it one of the best videos I have seen in a long ass time!! I am a big fan of Macy Gray and I was thrilled beyond belief when I heard her cover of this song.  I love the original version which is Awolnation featuring Kendrick Lamar and Ab Soul.  I am featuring both to celebrate the similarities as well as the differences both versions bring to the table.  I can't really say that I like one better than the other they both have their uniqueness.   I did hear Awolnation's version first.  At the end of the day it is all about the music.  It is a killer ass song love it.  I wish some visuals were made for this song.  I give the song and both versions two thumbs way the hell up!! I don't know why this song doesn't have more views then it has....this is a hell of a track.  Just the fact that Dr. Dre is on this track with Kendrick Lamar should be the talk of the town.  I love how the song has the 1970's type of vibe.  It reminds me of one of the old blaxplotation theme song.  Never the less I wanted to add the video with the lyrcs included because the wordplay on the verses are fantastic.  I give this song two thumbs way the hell up!! After watching this video man I realize how much I miss Miami....especially South Beach...I love the all white look.  Rocko been putting out some good ass music for real.  I will have to check out the rest of the songs he has got on the CD "Gift to Gab 2".  I don't know if yall knew that Rocko is Monica's baby daddy and Rocko is also the real brother of Future.  He has alot of talent surronding him and he is blessed with rap skills.  He comes off as a real motherfucka too.....no phony just straight up...you can see it in him he aint about the bullshit.  I have to give this song and video two thumbs way the hell up!! Gucci Mane - Darker (ft. Chief Keef)

 

That was pretty fast....Gucci recently signed Chief Keef andthey already got a song together.  I have to say Gucci Mane is one of my favorite southern rappers along with T.I. and Young Jeezy.  When I first heard this song I said wtf???   I played it again and it grew on me already.  I'm glad that the legal trouble Gucci had dealt with didn't stop him from doing what he does best...make music.  Signing Chief Keef was a very good move.  I give this song two thumbs way the hell up....Give it a chance....Enjoy!!
