(HealthDay News) -- Concentrating on music can provide enough distraction to ease the pain of people with significant anxiety, according to a new study.
Researchers from the University of Utah Pain Research Center studied the effectiveness of music as a pain reliever on 143 study participants. The volunteers were asked to follow a melody so they could identify the tones that stood out. While tackling the assignment, they received safe pain shocks with fingertip electrodes.
The study, published in the December issue of the Journal of Pain, found that pain was reduced as the demands of the music task rose. The researchers explained that the music competed with the participants' pain pathways. By triggering emotional responses and engaging the participants' minds, the music task helped to ease their pain.

I like both version but I am a big Nipsey Hussle supporter. I like this song either version. It sounds good when you just riding. There is a video in production for the Snoop Dog, YG and Nipsey Hussle version of the song. If you havent already seen the Drake Lil Wayne version, I posted that video eariler it features E-40 in the video. Alot of nasty comments were posted on youtube calling Kayne arrogant, self absorbed etc. My question is how is he being arrogant? How can he perform a concert to people who paid to get into the event and then litter the stage with crap. He is a big star that has to consider his safety as well as security. I'll be damn I perform a concert and a bunch of cards or whatever else gets thrown on the stage while I am performing. That is pretty disrespectful and anyone performing a concert would have reacted in a similiar way to Mr. West's reactions. I hate people acting as if Kayne did something wrong, he has a right to protect his safety and security when performing in fornt of fans. What idiot would throw anything on stage? I am sick of the hate for Kayne, it is really unnecessary. What are your thoughts?

I have been hearing this song on the radio for a few days now.  I am in love with the song. I am glad the video is not too raunchy...the song is about stripping they could have made this video real nasty.  I am glad it turned out the way it did. I give the song and video two thumbs way up!! Enjoy!

I found this song on a hip hop blog, it is an interesting pop song. It reminds me of a 1980's song when the height of the British invasion was occuring. At any rate, it is a pretty good song and I like the video. She is getting it in with her love interest in the video for sho!! The city's hourly wage for its lowest-paid workers will hit $10.24, more than $2 above the California minimum wage and nearly $3 more than the working wage set by the federal government. All states should fight for this pay hike.  I don't know anyone that can live off of $7.25 per hour.  We should all be guaranteed a living wage.  That is one thing the Occupy movement is fighting for in thier demands for change.

Buddy is an 18-year old rapper from Compton California.  He caught the attention of Pharrell, who mentored his growing skill and consequently produced his debut track “Awesome Awesome.”Currently featured on HBO's “How To Make It In America 2” mixtape, the track is building momentum in both the Hip-Hop and mainstream world.  the video is set in his Compton neighborhood and kinda chronicles a day in the life there.  I like the skateboarding shots in video.  Buddy has already had the honor of working with Snoop Dog too..wow what a lucky kid.  He has a good flow, this song kinda sounds like 2Chainz Ride around and gettin song..  In any case I like the song and the vdieo too.  I give them both two thumbs way the hell up!! I love this video clip.  Hell yeah President Obama is the boss.  They need to respect it, he knows what he is doing.  I love how he cut that reporter off with that comment.   He handled the question with the best answer.  President Obama is the best man for the job.  Do not let these flea bitten two legged rednecks tell you anythign different.  Do you really want a cowboy boot wearing fool like Perry running this land.  Haven't we learned that crackers can't run shit!!!! No one is perfect but we have a perfect man in the White House.  And he is right look how many of the terrorists have been taken out since he has been Commander in Chief.  We must respect his word and his work ethic.  He is doing the best job he can and with what little resources he has to use with it.  He is a great leader!! and stands for us all.

I was reading some things on the internet and came across this artist Honey Cocaine. Apparantly she is an Asian rapper who has ties to Tyga. Remember Tyga is with the Young Money Camp. That camp are smart to find artists of all diverse backgrounds representing Hip Hop. It helps promote the globilization of the Hip Hop movement. Unfortunately not all people are happy to have artists like Honey Cocaine out here. There are people offended by an Asian rapper using the N word. Why do people give power to the word and why would it offend anyone. The word should have no power what so ever. Isnt there more important real things to worry about out here. Getting back to whay really matters, she has talent and has a nice little flow going for her. I can see her being a big hit in both the American market and Asian market. J Wow covers Maxim Magazine for Jan 2012 issue

Well J WOW from the Jersey Shore will be on the first cover of Maxim's 2012 lineup.  J WOW graces the cover in the January 2012 issue of the magazine.  If your a Jersey Shore fan then you will appreciate the gang appearing any and everywhere they can.  The new season of the Jersey Shore is set to air in January too.  I can't wait for the show to come back on, and they are back home too.  I love it!  I wasn't happy with the last season shot in Italy but this year they will be back in Jersey.  Peep the pics above, these will be featured in the January issue.
