I was laughing so hard and sitting here with my mouth wide open of the ridiculousness these Saudi men displayed on this camera.  A Saudi woman used her own camera to record the absurb men trying to tell her to leave the mall because she had on nail polish.  I am so proud of this woman for talking back to these religious fools.  I mean they are the ones that look ridiculous wearing full Jesus robes in the mall....I mean that shit would look right in the desert but in a 21st century mall.  When I look at this kind of mind set it reminds me of alot of conservatives around the world.  I hear stories all the time of people not being hired because of tattos and piercings.  Some people are overlooked for jobs based on race or hair styles.  If we keep thinking like that we are all going to end up looking like these ridiculous men.  They are warped in their thinking and the worst part is that they push their thinking on everyone else and if you do not bow down to their demands they make it hard for you.  That is ABUSE!!! I wish every woman in the Middle East would rise up and take a stand against all the abuse the men are putting them through.  The men are a bunch of religious, jealous, idiots who are making it hard for women to live.  It is bad enough to deal with the climate over there but to also deal with insecurity and stupidity too, hell no that is way to much!!! I am so so proud of this woman!!

2012 Preakness - I'll Have Another Wins AGAIN!

Well well well with the horse I'll have another winning the Preakness today and winning the Kentucky Derby earlier this month.  I'll have another has one more race to win to be the triple crown winner.  I am excited to see the next race and to see if the horse can score such a precious title.  In loving memory of my stepfather I post horse races like this because he was an avid horse racing fan.  RIP Juan I miss you!! We lost a great icon today.  Donna Summers lost her battle to cancer today.  She was only 63 years old.  She gained much fame during the 1970's but continued her musical career to span decades past the 70's.  She was a five time Grammy award winner.  Donna was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the US Billboard chart.  Also within a 13 month period she had four number one singles in the United States hit the charts in that time frame.  She was considered the Queen of Disco. She inspired so many people with her music and voice. H&M apologizes for using too-tan model in ads <- You gotta read this ridiculousness.  Let me summarize what the article is about....H&M is a popular Swedish clothing retailer.  So for their new swimsuit ads they recruited an olives skin Brazilian model named Isabeli Fontana.  Some people who are a part of the Swedish Cancer society blasted H&M for using such a model citing that her bronzed skin gives an unrealistic ideal of beauty because more people in Sweden die of skin cancer each year than car accidents.  Since Isabeli has very very dark skin the Swedes believe her color is unattainable to the pale people of the Northern European countrymen and women.  But wait!!!!!!!! The group blasted H&M for what it characterized as creating a "deadly" standard of beauty that unduly influenced young people to tan. It said images like the swimsuit ad campaign "contribute to more people dying from skin cancer." So how the hell is it dark people's fault that Swedes die to look brown....it is not brown skinned peoples fault.  She should be able to do any ad campaign in the world.  How insecure are the Swedes and white folk that an olive skinned model is not considered a deadly standard of beauty.  It is not our fault that white people can't tan and have pale skin..This is the kind of thing dark woman around the world should protest!!! This is insanity at its best!!!At any rate the model looks gorgeous and the Swedes are just jealous they can't have skin that color....Get over it!!! For them to be focused on the model's skin color rather than the swimsuits should explain how crazy these folks are.... I think she looks fabulous in the ad...I love it and I hope more women of color embrace their darkness!!  I had to post this please consider not purchasing a damn thing from H&M!! WOW SMDH!!

All I can say is this is a perfect video for this song.  The concept is great, the chemistry between Kelly and Trey is amazing.  They are naturals, they both show emotions and both make great movie stars.  They could do a love story together and I bet it would be better than alot love stories made before. This song "Heart Attack" is the lead single from his forthcoming fifth studio album "Chapter V" Yes this is the lovely Kelly Rowland playing his love interest in the video. This takes you an a trip for real...it is deep.  Ab-Soul along with Kendrick Lamar are members of hip hop collective Black Hippy, along with Jay Rock, and Schoolboy Q.  I like how he raps and I am in love with the lyrics.  After listening to this song you gotta give it two thumbs up but I give it two thumbs way the hell up!! Why when someone shows a nipple is is explicit but when they show guns blowing heads off its not considered explicit.  So there is a little nudity in this video....so what!!   If you don't know yet...you better recognize A$AP Rocky is a damn good rapper.  He represents Harlem but learned alot of his style and flow from Houston.  His music is tight.  This song "Goldie" serves as the first single off his debut album “LongLiveASAP” which drops this summer. The video was shot in Paris and is directed by Rocky himself.   In a recent interview with MTV's Amanda on “MTV’s Hip Hop POV.” 
She questioned him about his single “Goldie,” which was originally named “Cristal” after the champagne. Jay-Z called for a boycott of the pricey bubbly after the company made disparaging comments about hip-hop.  Rocky had this to say“It’s called ‘Crissy’ and it’s basically a mockery towards it. It’s to get them upset,” explained A$AP of the Hit-Boy-produced record. “If you listen to the lyrics, ‘Cristal by the cases/ Wait, hold up that was racist/ I would prefer the Aces/ Ain’t no different when you taste it’—we don’t even fu**in’ care about champagne, we drink 40s.”I give the video and song two thumbs way the hell up! THIS CAN'T BE REAL!!!!! What stupid ass women are sitting up in a video this gotdamn dumb!! And what the hell is up with the sock puppet?? RIP Adam MCA Yauch from the The Beastie Boys dies at age 47

I wanted to post my favorite Beastie Boys song in memory of Rapper Adam MCA Yauch.  He lost his long battle with cancer and died today at the age of 47.  So young to go!!! I hate hearing stories like this, it shows how short life really is.  How ironic that the Beastie Boys were inducted into the Hall of Fame just last month, and Adam did not make it to witness it first hand.  Our prayers are with his friends and family.  He was a true pioneer in helping this hip hop movement go mainstream.  You will be missed!! RIP MCA!!

OMG this is for real I thought I was watching a Dave Chappelle skit.  Somehow someway Brian just made the word Pussy sound nice in this song.  LOL I was reading the comments and people are saying he is out of character, we are all multi layered and dimensional.  When you think you figure out how someone should act stop it! No one walks around being what you think they are, for example Brian doesn't walk around 24/7 being the nice guy that we all think he is based on his love ballads.  I must say I was shocked by the words of this song but he is such a talented artist he turned it into a song of love...Good work Brian!! Samuel L. Jackson slams 'Avengers' Critic On Twitter <- You gotta read this story.  Mr. Jackson took to twitter today to fire back at New York Times critic A.O. Scott for negative comments in his review of Marvel’s The Avengers, in which Jackson stars as eye-patch-wearing S.H.I.E.L.D. commander Nick Fury.  I am so glad Mr. Jakcson said what he said go read the link to see the story and see what Samuel had to say via Twitter.  I am going to see the movie this weekend so I am curious to see what there is to not like about it!!! Some people need to get a life and stop being so negative!

Bobby Brown is interviewed by Matt Lauder on the Today show.  I am not feeling the way Matt is speculating and the forcefulness of his attitude towards Bobby.  How the hell is he responsible for getting Whitney hooked on drugs.  No one puts a gun to peoples head....the entertainment world is ful of drugs, sex and scandals.  I am glad he cleared it up and saying that he wasn't the one who introduced her to drugs, she was already in that lifestyle.  Matt keeps alluding to the fact that Bobby needs to confess to something he did wrong. He did nothing but be a husband and a dad to his daughter.  I am so sick of the media's nitpicking this man to death.  The media tried to paint Bobby out as the bad guy years ago that is why he is not shocked on hearing that he is responsible for her drug use....Please that is ridiculous, Bobby is not a drug dealer....stop pinning every black man that you don't like as a drug pusher...I am so sick and tired of the media.  Thats why I write my blog to give the real perspective on topics.  Stop blaming this man for loving this woman.  She had her own demons as we all do but now she is at peace...RIP Whitney Houston!

 The Texas rapper Adair Lion uses a classic Michael Jackson song "Ben" to tell us "Gay is O.K. Wow I am so proud of Adair Lion to be bold enough to put out this song and video.  He is what true hip hop is about calling out the wrong and shedding light to the situation of many people who have no voice.  Gay people are discriminated against just like people of different ethnicities are....yes in a way you can say gay is the new black.  Being attracted to the same sex happens in the animal world and like he said the Bible is wrong  this time on blasting gays.  I have gay friends, straight friends what does it matter who someone sleeps with at night? I don't care all people deserve equality.  We don't come down on men prostituting women out but we come down on two men loving each other.  We don't come down on gun violence but we blast two lesbians in love.  We don't excommunicate the pimp who sleeps with nasty ass hos and strippers but we try to banish a man trying to marry another man....Cmon people get your priorities in order.  Look around you all the things you support and are taught to accept are tearing the community down.  Gay people don't tear it down, interracial couples don't tear it down but what does tear it down is ignorance, drugs, violence, rape, prostitution, and joblessness.  Get your priorities in order and accept people that are different than you ...theres is nothing wrong with being who you really are whether that be gay or straight.  I give this song and video two thumbs up to the highest!!!
