We lost a great icon today. Donna Summers lost her battle to cancer today. She was only 63 years old. She gained much fame during the 1970's but continued her musical career to span decades past the 70's. She was a five time Grammy award winner. Donna was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the US Billboard chart. Also within a 13 month period she had four number one singles in the United States hit the charts in that time frame. She was considered the Queen of Disco. She inspired so many people with her music and voice. She was a true class act and belted out some amazing songs that none of us will ever forger. I posted a video of her performing "Love to Love you baby" she performed the song live and sounded amazing!1 Another great one gone....She will be missed....RIP Donna Summer
