The Texas rapper Adair Lion uses a classic Michael Jackson song "Ben" to tell us "Gay is O.K. Wow I am so proud of Adair Lion to be bold enough to put out this song and video. He is what true hip hop is about calling out the wrong and shedding light to the situation of many people who have no voice. Gay people are discriminated against just like people of different ethnicities are....yes in a way you can say gay is the new black. Being attracted to the same sex happens in the animal world and like he said the Bible is wrong this time on blasting gays. I have gay friends, straight friends what does it matter who someone sleeps with at night? I don't care all people deserve equality. We don't come down on men prostituting women out but we come down on two men loving each other. We don't come down on gun violence but we blast two lesbians in love. We don't excommunicate the pimp who sleeps with nasty ass hos and strippers but we try to banish a man trying to marry another man....Cmon people get your priorities in order. Look around you all the things you support and are taught to accept are tearing the community down. Gay people don't tear it down, interracial couples don't tear it down but what does tear it down is ignorance, drugs, violence, rape, prostitution, and joblessness. Get your priorities in order and accept people that are different than you ...theres is nothing wrong with being who you really are whether that be gay or straight.
