Wow I thought it was just me but I hate Miracle Whip. Always have always will. Since I hate it as much as Pauly D does, I wanted to post the commerical. I can't wait for the new season of Jersey Shore to hit the airwaves. I do not know why so many people hate the Jersey Shore crew. I think they are hilarious. I think my favorite Jersey Shore cast members are Ronnie and Sammie. They fight like an old married couple and I think they are going to be together forever.

Well this song was on my mind today and I said why not make it a throwback Monday.  Montel Jordan had several hits in the 1990's including the party jam "This is how We Do it"! That song blew up the charts...everyone was singing that song.  Well this song "Supastar" came out after his hit and I loved it the first time I saw the video. I was reading in Wikipedia that in 2010 Montell left the music industry to become a Minister.  WOW Enjoy!!!!

You don't know what you want for dinner tonight??  Let Coolio come to your rescue.  I came across this on the internet and thought it was funny. Remeber Coolio had a few hits in the 90's including his rendition of "Fantastic Voyage".  He also had the hit "Gangsta's Paradise" which appeared in the film Dangerous Minds . Apparently Coolio has a cooking show and cookbook and he has a ghetto approach to bringing us delicious recipes.  He is featured in his own web show.  In this episode he is making tricked out Westside Tilapia. 

Well at least he decided to take his career into another direction. I'm glad he is not one of these rappers who are 40+ years old  and still hitting the stage rapping like its the 90's...LOL

I liked this performance on the Bet Awards last night.  I did not like it when Rick Ross took his shit off and exposed that belly.  WOW!! It was sure jiggling.  I loved Ace Hood's and Lil Wayne's performance.  How you gonna take off your shirt and sing next to buffed up Ace Hood??? LOL

Wiz Khalifa "ON My Level" ft. Too Short

Congratulations goes out to Wiz Khalifa who won Best New artist on the BET awards Sunday night.  He had some tough competition including J. Cole, Bruno Mars, Miguel and Williow Smith.  He beat them all taking home the award.  He had this to say “I’m not used to winning stuff, so I didn’t come with no speech or nothing,” the cool and collected rapper said, thanking his record label and “everyone who helped start my career and get me to where I’m at. All the young people who promote positivity and just having fun and enjoying yourself, man, this is for y’all.”  I like Wiz and I wanted to showcase his video which is climbing the charts.  I like how he got the veteran rapper Too Short to colloborate on this track.  I give this two thumbs up....Wiz reminds me of a young Snoop Dog, I think he will have Snoop's longevity in the industry too...Enjoy!!!!

I am making my own prediction that LMFAO is gonna get so big this summer. This is definitely a club banger. There other song where everyone says everyday Im shuffling is still being played on the radio. I also have a new found love for Natalia Kills. The more songs I hear from her the more I like her. The video makes you wanna get up and dance. I think these guys are the coolest!!! Enjoy!!!

Somehow I missed this show last month, but I saw it on air last night. I wanted to post it because I enjoyed every moment of Ms Lady Gaga she has a really cool personality. David Letterman is one of my favorite late night hosts. They had relaly good chemistry and I love David Letterman's sarcastic jokes. He is so funny. I wonder how Gaga keeps her makeup from running and looking that perfect. Enjoy!!!

I got to get this off my chest..Lil Wayne said what??

In an interview with XXL magazine, Lil Wayne had this to say about working with Justin Bieber: “That’s my little homie now. He texts me every night asking me to do [his] d*mn song. That’s my n*gga, but I can’t do it. Like I said, I don’t want to f*ck his sh*t up.”

Hold up wait a minute....He doesn't want to mess up Justin Bieber's little image but yet Lil Wayne just did a song with Lil Twist, the little boy who sings "Love Affair."  So is it ok to fuck up his image because he is a little black kid? Why is he any different than Justin Bieber other than skin color.  Was Lil Wayne required to say that by the record execs or does he really feel that way.   Oh I get, so he is ok with fucking up other peoples images, people that look like him? Hasn't he has worked with many people but Justin Bieber id the KING now? Cmon man this is some bullshit. Who the hell is Justin Bieber and why the hell does he have so much respect from grown ass men who are in the hip hop genre?  Lil Twist is a 16 year old black kid, why did Wayne feel the need to corrupt this little kids image but he wont even dare do a song with Justin Bieber?

  I also have a huge problem with the new Rick Ross ft Lil Wayne video "9 Piece".  Look at what the video glorifies selling dope from an IPhone, is this how far we have to stoop to sell their products. When will this shit stop, why is everyone standing around not saying something about this garbage?  I boycott the video its disgusting and despicable.  I will not support something that aids into the suffering and killing of people.  Just because it is out there in front of our faces does not make it right.  You wouldn't see the wholesome precious perfect Justin Bieber doing a song with Lil Wayne about selling drugs on an IPhone because his parents would say no.  Are you serioulsy gonna support a song that goes this low ?????  I'm glad Lil Wayne has respect for Justin Bieber, I'm just disappointed he doesn't have that same respect for lil young black kids too.  Please don't take this as hate against Lil Wayne.  I like him but I disagree with his recent comments and the choices he makes while being a role model to our youth?  We have kids out here admiring these guys and when they flash around guns, drugs ansd hos, its damaging to our young men who are fatherless and who have seen their fathers run to that  devilish underground shady ass lifestlye.  We will make another generation of ignorant asses if we keep supporting this garbage!!!!

Ok Brian channels Marvin Gaye so well in this song...WOW...I like the sound of this song. This is one of the songs that will be on Brian McKnight's new album which will be released in July. I would love to see a nice and mellow video for this song. I think this album will showcase his talent in a way we have grown to appreciate from Brian McKnight. I give this song two thumbs way up!! I like this song and the video is cute. Jennifer looks great and she is showing us her little dance moves. The song is catchy as hell. I like the video concept. I wanted to point out to all the men out there that all women want that ring on their finger. Some women wanna play that hard independent type role, but every girls dream is to have her night and shining armor commit only to her. We see alot of videos showing men with many women and sometimes they are with two women at the same time. That is the media's push on fucking up marriages and stability. If you love someone you should be with that one person and commit to the one. Its the most wonderful thing in the world to be with your best friend and soul mate. I give this song and video two thumbs up... I know this song is gonna fly up the charts! Enjoy!!!

Beyonce's album drops Tuesday. I have heard a few songs from the album. I always think it is worth getting her albums. She cannot flop she is too talented for that. The commercial is a wonderful advretisement for the new album. I know alot of people can't believe that there is room for many artists. She is a welcome addition to take her position in the top 5 singers of this period in time. Enjoy!!!

Ok I keep hearing this song on the radio here in ATL and now the damn song is stuck in my head. It's not that I don't like the song..I like it alot. I just hate when a song plays over and over again in my head. I didn't even realize Drake was in this song. I must have not paid attention to his part. This is the world premiere of the video and it is a nice song. I loved Estelle when she did that song with Kayne West" American Boy." Her voice is so beautiful. Having a duet with Rick Ross, how can you go wrong with that. I think he adds a little extra to the song (no pun intended) lol. I like the track they used for the song too. Well Selena's video premiered tonight.  Its got a catchy little thing about it.  I couldn't help but notice all the nasty comments about her and Justin Bieber together. Why ae people hating on teen love? As if they never dated when they were younger.  Selena reminds me of Taylor Swift alot, it must be the hairstyles in the video.  Anyway for a teen song it's pretty good.  I give it two thumbs up! I just discovered this video but I must say I like it.  I have read alot of comments and everyone wants to compare Natalia to Rhianna or Lady Gaga.  I think the reason why it is so easy to get these artists confused is because alot of them have the same writers.  There are a few  writers the music industry employees and they write the songs and find singers to do the records.  If you notice many of the songs have the same lyric or lines that are used over and over again.  Natalia Kills was born in England to a Jamaican father and Uruguayan mother.  She was signed by Will.i.am in 2008,to Interscope Records via his music group imprint.  I like her sound and I like the video to this song "Mirrors"  Enjoy!!!

I know I'm always Keeping Up with the Kardashians, this season preview

I love the show but I am a reality Tv junkie so it goes to show what perspective I am coming from.. anyway the show is always entertaining.  I am anxious to see Kim's relationship develop and I love Kourtney she is my favorite on the show.  People can hate the Kardashians but they have made a presence so strong in the media world that you cannot deny the business knack this family has under their belts.  I think I prefer this one then Lamar and Khloe spinoff.  I like to see Bruce Jenner, I think he is so funny! Wow I was really liking this song for a while now. I am very disappointed with the video though. How many videos will we see strippers and poles. I mean the strip clubs must be losing alot of money or something. They have aimed their marketing tools into our music today. Im sorry but dirty lost women dancing on a pole have no reason to be in a video. It just makes this so predictable. It's funny Michael Jackson never had to really stoop to selling sex to sell his records because he had raw talent. I am sick of the same concept in videos. We need better producers and people with some orginality. This concept has been done over and over again... Ok I am done complaining! The one positive aspect of the video...ummmm I like the blue look throughout....LOL Enjoy!!!

Nice song, it has a good workout beat to it.  I like the video and how she says fuck you in the press conference and leaves out.  She always pushes buttons thats why she has maintained herself through all the years.  Her latest album is proving to be pretty good.  She is still on tour and Nicki Minaj is on the Femme Fatale tour.  There are rumored reports that Britney is upset that Nicki keeps going over her time on stage but there are no confirmed reports that they are not getting along. Wow Jeremih came a very long way from "Birthday Sex" It's not that the Birthday Sex sound wasn't that good but it just sticks him in a narrow box. With the performance it shows more of his musicianship. Jazz helps soothe the soul.  I remember when "Do I ever cross your Mind" came out.  He was a Jazz-Funk/Fusion/Smooth Jazz Soprano saxophonist. George died in 1998 at the young age of 41.  What a loss to the music world.  He covered "Baby Come to Me" by Regina Belle.  I have included that video.  When I listen to music like this my imagination runs wild and free.  We should honor jazz more than we do.  It is wonderful music. Some of the highlights of Birthday Bash 16 in Atlanta Ga this past weekend!

If you weren't in Atlanta Ga this weekend you missed a star studded event.  See alot of the Birthday Bash highlights.  There were more performers but I included most of my favorite ones. 























Lloyd did "Bedrock" The footage is not the best but I wanted to include Him since he is one of my all time favorite artists.  The radio station 107.9 advertised the Birthday Bash event for months and with the star studded event I see how big it actually turned out to be.  There were alot of after parties in Atlanta that night.  I think out of all the performers,  Keri Hilson, Chris Brown  and Young Jeezy ft Lil Wayne were my favorite performances.  Enjoy!!

Ok I don't get what the big deal is in legalizing Marijuana?  It is a known culprit to help patients with pain and other ailments.  In Montel Williams case as many others, he needs it for pain.  Since when is it our decision to keep medicine away from people. Whether it be a narcotic pill or a joint, the medicinal powers of marijuana have been proven time and time again.  We need ot legalize all drugs and have them dispensed in medical facilites.  Crime would go down if people wwere able to get clean drugs and get them prescribed through a medical outpatient setting.  I am glad Montel is taking this matter in his own hands.  He is smart to stick to this and I wish him the best of luck in fighting MS.

If you are a nature lover this video is for you. The cats in video are amazing and I love to watch them in their own habitat. The cinematography in the video is wonderful!  I like Jordin Sparks and I think she was should be more mainstream, she is very talented!  This song and video came out in April of this year but somehow I missed it back then.  Well I am glad I found it today.  Enjoy!!!

Source: TMZ.com Legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons died today of complications from a stroke he suffered back on June 12. He was 69. Clemons, known to fans as the Big Man, was the most famous member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. His stand out work could be heard on songs like "Born To Run," "Thunder Road," "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out," and "Dancing In The Dark" ... along with countless others.

I mean if you dont like what people are wearing mind your business.  I personally hate the way Khaki pants look and the way men wear them but you do not see me pulling out the police swat team to attack someone for wearing these corny ass looking pants.  California of all places got some dam nerve as fucked up as that state's representatives are and  as messed up as their economy is they are going to harass young people who dress in baggy attire.  Wow there are some fucked up priorities if you are kicking young people off a plane because of what he wears.  This shows you that these people are crazy!!!He did not commit a crime and he paid for his ticket so what is the justification of aresting him??

Old School Friday video- Loose Ends-"Hanging on a String"



In 1995 Hanging on a String reached #1 on the US Billboard R&B charts.  This song was huge, it was heard over and over again on radiostations that year.  This is such an underrated group, they had alot of wonderful songs and the group gets often overlooked.  This was the era of very good music.  I miss that era of soul and R&B, it was a treat to be able to experience all these great songs in that era. "Hangin' on a String (Contemplating)" is featured in the popular video game Grand Theft Auto IV's fictional Soul/R&B radio station The Vibe 98.8,  Enjoy!!!

Did you know that Fergie was the voice of Sally? I love the Peanuts gang.  There was something special about seeing a Charlie Brown special coming on tv before we had the 24 hour cartoon channels.  Those were special times usually around the holidays.  My favorite Peanut character was Snoopy.. He was the coolest dog around. I'm glad Fergie decided to sing because I love her in the Black Eyed Peas!

Wow I wsa so surprised to see such a low number of views for this video on youtube. I like Omarion and when he does the slow songs is when I think he shines the best. I was not sure of what "cut a rug" meant so I looked it up...LOL So the definition that would make the most sense pertaining to the video would be "Cut a Rug"  To dance really well and impress others.   If there is a defintion of this term that I dont know about please let me know. Anytime I find Michael Jackson anything I have to post it. I loved him so much, he was more than a legend he was beyond that! Ok I am not making this up folks! Apparantly there is a book by Adam Mansbach entitled "Go the F to sleep." And now Samuel L. Jackson has recorded an audio version of the book, which is available, for free, on Audible.com. Caution: Due to the profane language, you may not want to play these versions in the actual presence of children.
 My opinion is that this is funny and the kids are going to hear and see worse when they get to school and in the real world.  I want to go check out the book myself. Not only is this book of interest to alot of parents who deal with the frustrations of putting kids to bed.  This book is currently a chart-topper at Amazon.  OL

LOS ANGELES -- A crudely produced video depicting gun-toting black gang members spanking a white, bikini-clad California congressional candidate has set off a furor.
Democrat Janice Hahn - who is portrayed in the Internet ad as a gyrating pole dancer - on Wednesday called the ad vulgar, racist and sexist.
Republican Craig Huey's campaign in the 36th Congressional District issued a statement denouncing the ad and saying it had no connection to the 90-second spot.
The ad says it was funded by a group called Turn Right USA, which according to government filings is based in suburban Los Angeles.

OK THIS IS MY OPINION- If you never knew what an Uncle Tom looked like.  check out the two sellout lost black men who decided to be the Amos & Andy for this Republican DICKHEAD!! This is one of the most racist, sexist ads I have seen but leave it up to the Repulicans to show their true colors!  Lets face it racism is in their veins.  They live, breathe and work as racists. They use people that they think they can control as their pawns in their evil plight to fuck up the world.  There has got to be a point sometime in your life to say NO to any amount of money being offered to you to act a damn fool.  I am convinced after looking at this video that the so-callled  GANGSTA music that hit the streets in the late 80's early 90's was the work of corrupt Republicans. I hated posting this nasty stuff, but we all have to be aware of the sickos out here that try to give us eye candy and promised riches and in turn for that they molest, rape and destroy us.  When will we all wake up and say enough is enough.  How can anyone vote Republican?
