RIP Whitney Houston!!
RIP to a GREAT LEGEND!!!
The sad news has hit the world. The great Whitney Houston was found dead today at her hotel room. The singer was found unresponsive at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The cause of death has not been determined yet. Whitney Houston was in town in part to attend Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammys party. What a devestating loss to the world and to the world of music. Whitney was my idol growing up, I always thought so had the most amazing, incredible voice ever!! I always wished I had a voice as powerful as Whitney. The media attacked Whitney and put her under a microscope and picked her apart. No matter what they have said about her and her personal life, she was an absolute icon, a legend and a beautiful soul. May she Rest in Peace and I hope she knows we will always love her. Her music is our gift and will be bumping all over the world to honor her legacy....Another one gone too soon. This Black History month has been rough with losing Don Cornelius now Whitney Houston? WTF?????? Tragic, tragic news!!! I included some of my favorite Whitney songs!!

Banned 2012 Super Bowl Commercial **WARNING: Not for the sensitive
If you watched the Superbowl last week you probably tuned in for all the commercials. If you were like me I was tired of the hype over the few ads that were supposed to be the best. I am not a fan of certain models and I could give a damn less when they flaunt their bony ass bodies all over the screen. I know alot of blockheads watch the Superbowl and maybe would have not gotten the meaning behind this commerical here but are people that stupid. If you do not get what this ad is saying umm you cannot be serious? Anything as important as protecting yourself during sex should never been banned but rather promoted!! We as a nation should be outraged that things to protect us are banned...wake up people wake the fuck up!!!

A group of fishermen landed this 40 ft long whale shark from the deep in the Arabian Sea. These pictures emerged today of the giant whaleshark being reeled in and brought to port in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
A 40 foot whale shark...WTF!!! Look at the size of this shark. Apparantly the shark was spotted floating unconscious in the sea ten days ago, around 90 miles away from shore. The largest confirmed whaleshark was 41ft long but it is thought they can grow to considerably greater lengths. The shark is found in tropical waters and lives for around 70 years. They feed mainly on plankton, microscopic plants and sometimes small fish. Now this is true true talent. Miguel has a new song and video "Adorn" that just was released. I have to say that Miguel is one of the few artists that have the natural born talent. I think with the popularity and status placed on Americal Idol and shows designed to find and recreate the next new star has placed more emphasis on prefabricated music. Many artists out here are thrown into a studio, handed a song and get handed down record contracts but they have zero talent. I think Miguel is truly an artist that will make any prefabricated artist jealous. He has a great voice and substance. I think he will also have longevity in the business as long as he stays on point of being himself. "Adorn" is off of Miguel's upcoming project, Art Dealer Chic Volume1 which drops February 27th 2012. This footage is funny as hell. Charles Barkely is so funny with that headband and talking about Lebron James hairline. His hairline is receding quite a bit. They are hilarious talking about it, then they show Lebron wearing it..OMG this shit is funny. MTV news asked David Guetta about the video and he had this to say"It's totally different," Guetta said. "Until now, my message was very much like, 'OK, we're all the same; we're all together. Let's share a beautiful moment.' And that's what I do as a DJ and also as a producer. But I think people got that message, you know, in my videos, and I wanted to come with a new story, with a new concept and something maybe a little more artsy in terms of creation and a little more crazy too. "It's a little more risqué," he added. "I don't know if everybody's going to love it. I don't know if it's going to make me sell records, and to be honest, I don't really care. I wanted to have a video that is a piece of art by itself. That was not necessarily trying to sell the record but that was just something that exists by itself." Sad news today!!I wanted to post it in honor of a legend. Mr. Don Cornelius who is dead at 75 years old. He died of an apparent suicide from a gunshot to the head.This interview took place a few months ago which features Herb Kent and Don Cornelius on v103 in Chicago. He died of an apparent suicide from a gunshot to the head. Originally a journalist inspired by the civil rights movement, Cornelius recognized that in the late 1960s there was no television venue in the United States for soul music, and introduced many African-American musicians to a larger audience as a result of their appearances on Soul Train, a program that was both influential among African-Americans and popular with a wider audience. As writer, producer, and host of Soul Train, Cornelius was instrumental in offering wider exposure to black musicians like James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Michael Jackson, as well as creating opportunities for talented dancers that would presage subsequent television dance programs. Cornelius said "We had a show that kids gravitated to," and Spike Lee described the program as an "urban music time capsule."Besides his smooth and deep voice, Cornelius is best known for the catchphrase that he used to close the show: "... and you can bet your last money, it's all gonna be a stone gas, honey! How did I know they were going shoot the video in the Magic City parking lot, I mean thats what the whole song is about!!Im not a car person but its a pretty cool car and I guess thats what you call fishtailing.
