Samantha Fox - I Wanna Have Some Fun Video

 Throwing it back to the 80's! Samantha Fox had a few songs out in the 1980's which gained popularity.  She began working with the hip hop producers Full Force who are also featured in this video.   In 1988 Fox released her third album, I Wanna Have Some Fun  on Jive Records.  Samantha went on to put out another album in the 1990's.  She is still singing and appearing in several acting opportunities.  Her producers Full Force The group produced and wrote music for UTFO, Doctor Ice, Samantha Fox, Patti LaBelle, Jasmine Guy, The Force M.D.s, the R&B all-female group Ex Girlfriend, Britney Spears, James Brown, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Backstreet Boys, La Toya Jackson, and Selena.   The union between Samantha and Full Force was a huge jump start for her career.  Enjoy!!

I have been waiting for this video. I loved the song ever since I first heard it a few weeks back. Diggy Simmons is Rev Run's son for everyone who doesn't know that. If you watched the hit show Run's house you have seen Diggy. Yes he is growing up fast but he definitely has alot of talent. His musical roots are evident. I have heard and read many comments that give negative feedback to Diggy. I think all the people who have negative things to say about Diggy are insane. He is from a very successful musical family why should he come out as a hard thug. Haven't we all learned that the thug image was a creation (a bad creation) designed to destroy the urban communities. Diggy did a wonderful job on the concept of the video and the dance routines are on point. "Copy, Paste" is a great song and excellent video, I give it two thumbs way up!! Enjoy!!!

If you know anything about me...I am very silly in my nature. I love to find funny things and share that with people. This video right here is hilarious to me...Shawty Lo is the lamest dude to me first of all but then he shows up in the video with this bakers hat on...Someone on mediatakeout.com was cracking on Shawty lo's hair they said he uses a Sharpie to style his hair, I have a Barber friend who said its probably Black Ice. It looks like it is a Sharpie its all shining and glowing.....Anyway back to this silly ass video. We all know that they are referring to drugs which is sad that in 2011 dudes still are resorting to rapping about that stupid shit. I like Future and some of his music, but pairing up with Shawty Lo is like a comedy skit. He looks so silly with that baking stuff on...I had to post this video and I in no way am condoneing the use of any drug. This video just looks funny as hell. Enjoy!!

I have been waiting for this video...I absolutely love this song. Chris Brown steps in and brings this song to a whole nother level. I like how Ace Hood got all dressed up for the video. I watched the video and I believe she is trying to display art. . What if people do not understand metaphors? Warning the video you are about to view is extremely graphic. I think the video is very graphic but she is using dark imagery.  I agree with someone who said that this reminded them of Marilyn Mason.

I love this song!! Chris Brown kills it vocally. He is such a talented artist. I am so glad he is back strong and holding his head up! I always wonder though is he singing about Rhianna..I bet he is but i don't know them personally to speak on the situation. I love his diversity and courage in his music and in taking back his career. He did his redemption and I am so sick of hearing the media attack this young man. What if you made a mistake and you were constantly reminded of the things you did. I love how Chris just keeps churning out the hits. He will have a lastying career and will go very very far..thats my prediction and see if I am right!! I give the song two thumbs way up! Enjoy!!

I have been waiting for this video to come out. Although I like the song I think Miguel tried a little too hard on this video to convince anyone who had any doubt about his homosexuality that he is into women. I just have a problem with dudes that sing to all women. I think this video would have been so great if he was singing to his girl instead a bunch of paid video hos who act like they bisexual for the camera. The scenario is so last decade. We need new creativity in music videos. I know the song's theme is about getting a quickie but its so much better when you get that quickie from the one person you are in a relationship with. I think this was staged to prove that he is not gay...This is my opinion. After viewing the video I would have preferred to not see it. I am not hating at all please don't take it as that...its just so done already. These women are acting for the paycheck....Im so over that women on women look.  thias freeze frame got thiese women looking like vampires...LOL

This is a new song from J. Cole featuring Trey Songz. Well I was listening to the song and I was like okay where is Trey's voice???? Well he is singing but its in a lower voice. I like the song they sampled, it gives this a reggae feel. I like J. Cole's talents as a rapper. He has a nice flow and sounds like a seasoned rapper. The Trey Songz that we are all used to hearing is missing in this song but I still like the song. I give the song two thumbs up! Enjoy

Here is "Pot of Gold" by the Game featuring Chris Brown.  I like the video and the pictures of the Game as a young boy gives the song alot more feeling from the heart. I like the video but I think after hearing Neyo's cover below, Neyo outshines Chris brown vocally on this song. 

Here is Neyo' version of "Pot of Gold"  I can honestly say that I think Neyo should have been on the track with the Game.  Neyo's voice carries alot more in this song.  What are your thoughts?

Well this song came out in Sept 2010 and although I never heard this song on any American radio station, this song must be extremely popular.  How else would this video have almost 9 million views...that is huge!!  Wynter Gordon does a fabulous job in the video and the song is pretty good.  I give it two thumbs way up! enjoy!!

Kim Kardashian's Bachelorette Bash

Of course Vegas was a buzz this past weekend as Kim Kardashian had her Bachelorette Bash while her soon to be hubby Kris Humpries had his at the same time. Kim had family and friends live and direct in the Sin city celebrating the last days of Kim's single days. The funniest par is that Kim crashes her fiance's bachelor's party. I wish her and her soon to be husband much success and happiness. Marriage is tough but if two people really love each other marriage can be the best thing in the world. So Khloe si married, Kim is getting married.....looks like the pressure on for Kourtney to get married too... Only time will tell. Enjoy!!

SOme who never made it past 27 years include Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and many more. I feel for her family to have to experience the loss of a daughter. Wow I am really feeling Marc Anthony in this song.  His voice is a perfect fit for the beat.  It is a shame he and Jennifer Lopez are divorcing and I will not talk about it because I think people just like to bring negative energy to situations.  Back to the music....this is such a high energy song and the video is great.  Pitbull brings his talent and I think this is a very well put together duo for this summer.  The single "Rain Over Me" is off the rapper's Planet Pit album which came out a few weeks ago.  I give the video two thumbs way up.!! Shark jumps out of water, lands inside boat

I always try to find incredible animal stories since I am a huge nature lover.  This is amazing.  One thing that gets me is that these researchers are in an areaw here the great white sharks are known to jump out of the water into the air.  How do they not know that one day a shark may jump into a boat just as this shark did?   The 10-foot long, 11-hundred pound "catch" sent crew members scrambling.  You know there is a saying that is so true never say never.  I am afraid of deep waters and boats anyway, so it would never happen to me.  this is a scary thought.  I am glad no one was injured.

Throwing it back to 1995, do you remember this track from BlackStreet? I love the words in this song. "Joy" was one of my favorite songs that this group put out. Its hard to believe this song came out that long ago, it has a timeless sound to it. I prefer this video version with the guitar piece in the breakdown of the song. This is such a lovely song and the video celebrates fatherhood. It is such a much needed message in today's society. I give it two thumbs up! Enjoy!!

Her real name is Melissa Smith (she adopted her mother's maiden name Molinaro.  She has alot of similarities to Kim. In my opinion she has nothing on Kim K. I think Kim is way better looking. Melissa is a Canadian pop singer, actress and choreographer. She is perhaps best known for her reality TV appearances on Making the Band 3 and Pussycat Dolls Prensent:the Search for the Next Doll.  She is currenlt recording debut pop/dance album and she is recently co starring in Dolph Lundgren's action film, Command Performance and had a major role in Honey 2.

  Take an inside look at Monica's wedding. I have to admit it, I am a women that is not into the big wedding thing. I also have to say that this wedding was an absolute dream come true. Everything was perfect, the dress that Monica wore was to die for.....so so pretty. I like when Monica wears her hair short but I prefer the longer hair on her though. Monica married her love Shannon Brown in a marvelous ceremony. I love the colors that the bridemaids wore down to the decor of the ceremony. It was like something out of the Cinderella story. Little girl talks about Pulling Up Your Pants!

This little girl is adorable as she calls out rappers and the like to start pulling up their pants so that people in the streets will listen.  She and alot of us are tired of seeing the prison industrial complex look of sagging pants as a fashion statement.  It looks ridiculous and baffoonish.  How can you be cool by doing anything that the prison system puts in place for prisoners.  How stupid it is to follow this trend.  My son tried the style but then I showed him a video of a man in prison talking about when the young guys come in and they sag pants, thats fresh booty meat for the prisoners already in the pen.  When my son saw that he was frantically looking for a damn belt.  We have to educate these men and if you are a groen man wearing this cmon man....grow up and stop teaching kids that this is a style and that it is acceptable.  Instead of pulling up pants, put a book in your hand and wear some pants that fit your ass.  Lets stop acting like prisoners.. this is your world GRAB IT!!

I heard this on the radio and was really feeling it. The song called "Summertime Anthem" features a veteran rapper Chubb Rock. Chubb Rock rose to fame in the 90's with his song "Treat em Right" that song became a club sensation. This track features a sample of George Benson's "Give me the Night" I like this song alot and hope to see a video to go with it. This has a nice flow to it and it goes good with the summer weather. i am glad to see Chubb Rock back on the scene. I think he had a better flow than Biggie Smalls but he didn't rise to fame like Biggie did. I give the song two thumbs way up. Enjoy!!

I was watching another video and I happen to look over at the suggested videos and I spotted this video with over 13 million views so I had to see what that was all about. Well it is a nice little track from Edward Maya & Mia Martina called "Stereo Love" Mia is a Canadian singer and her rise to fame is coming from her first single release which is a cover version of Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina's "Stereo Love".  I saw all those views on youtube I had to check it out.  I like the track and the video is well put together too.  I give it two thumbs way up.  Enjoy!!

Hailing from Canada  Ralph Jordan Croucher a goes by the stage name JRDN.  His first single "U Can Have It All" brought him to mainstream success by reaching number 20 on the Canadian Hot 100 and the music video reached number 5 on the MuchMusic Countdown. The second "Like Magic" reached number 24 on the Canadian Hot 100 with its music video topping the MuchMusic Countdown. I was watching an episode of Rob & Big....I really loved that show. I wish it would come back on the air. Anyway in the episode I saw today Big's uncle cam and stayed with them and they all did this video. Big is so funny in this video. Rob sounds so bad but makes some of the other real videos that are out there not good enough to compete with this one. He went on to say that BET has no problem playing Bloods gand related content but when a real video with a real message comes along they don't want to play it. The video speaks about the economic conditions we face in this country and goes in on the system but it certainly isn't ban worthy. BET always seems to let violent, sexist and strip club porn friendly videos to air on the network, anything with a message gets the axe on BET. It is amazing how the execs wake up to lyrics when the lyrics say something but when the lyrics degrade they turn their blind eye and play the hell out of the degrading video. Not only should we ban FoxNews and crew, we need to add in BET and its affiliates.

I wish our athletes and rap stars would support this brother by funding his projects and making his own exotic car line for a cheaper price. We could put all the European rivals out of circulation. Why pay millions on a car thats a dumb ass investment. We need to put our money into other things. This is how innovation begins when people start making and someone starts funding the manufacturing costs of the project.

WOW amazing work for someone to do all this with their bare hands.  I would buy it in all sparkly purple and with a price tag milllions less than the real thing...this would be the rave!!

You may recognize Anthony Q because he is an ex band member of Day 26.  They rose to fame on the show Making the Band.  Que ended up being let go from the band and decided to pursue a solo career. His story is the real testimony of never giving up.  Just because someone takeds it from you doesnt mean u just stop trying.  Go and get it. I am glad he was able to get past the band drama and make his own career.  Here is the new video "Medicine"  I like the fact that he brings a mature grown up feel to this video.He is singing to one woman being hos medicine not to a group of video chics trying to get laid and paid.  I like his voice and glad he made a video for this song.  I give the song and video two thumbs way up! Rupert Murdoch gets a pie thrown in his face

Rupert Murdoch was attacked by a protestor wielding a shaving foam pie as he gave evidence at the Culture Media and Sport committee on phone-hacking.  His wife Wendi Deng was quick to defend her husband.  I hope his empire crashes down on his head too.  I hate Fox news and I think he is a slimeball.

Joe Black - "Take You Home" vs Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam "I Wonder If I take you home"

Straight out of Hell's Kitchen comes Joe Black. I am not much for remakes but at least he kept the PuertoRican flow throughout since Lisa Lisa is puertorican it kept the respect. It's intersesting I looked up Joe Black for some background info on him. I found that Joe Black was the first black pitcher to win a World Series in 1952.  Strapped for pitching Brooklyn Dodgers manager Chuck Dressen brought Black out of the bullpen and started him 3 times in 7 days in the 1952 World Series against the New York Yankees. He won the opener with a 6-hitter over Allie Reynolds, 4-2, then lost the 4th game, 2-0, and the 7th, 4-2.  Well Joe Black the rapper should get signed on this is a pretty good remake of the song. 




Next I wanted to post the original song by Lisa Lisa is of PuertoRican decent and was raised in New York, she later moved to Miami to attend high school. Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam "I Wonder if I take you Home"    Lisa was all over every radio station in 1985. You can look at this video and still feel how the passion in this song moves you.  This song hit the R&B charts where it peaked at #6, and then to the pop chart, peaking at #34 in summer 1985. The single eventually went gold.....I like Joe Black's remake but there is nothing like the original song...this was such a big hit!

On August 4th the gang is back on MTV to bring us another season of the Jersey Shore.  This season the entire cast packed up and went to Florence Italy.  Despite unthrilled crowds and Italian backlash.  The crew managed to abide by the ridiculous rules the Italian goverment set out for the cast.  The cast and crew were not allowed t shoot at different tourist spots, which defeats the purpose of traveling to a country.  Tourists go to see landmarks but Italians did not like the idea of these out of control spoiled  American kids coming over disprupting their beautiful perfect lives.PLEASE....have you seen Italy...what a dump for the most part, they ought to be glad Americans spent some money on their country.  They need to get a grip and lose the arrogance.  I can't wait to watch this season.  I wanna see the bight fight between Mike and Ronnie.  Enjoy!!

Lushus Daim & The Pretty Vain More Than You Can Handle(80s Throwback)

Back in the 80's everyone jumped on any artist or act that sounded like it was from the Prince camp. Prince and Michael Jackson were two artists that everyone listened for and everyone wanted to work with. Prince helped spawn many careers sucj as the Family, Jill Jones, Vanity and Appolonia 6. He was involved with som many artists but to the surprise of many Lushus Daim was not produced or a part of the Prince protege. In fact the group was produced by Leon Sylvers III, who was at the height of his electro-funk craft, having produced groups like Shalamar, The Whispers, Krystol and Five Star.


The title track was released as a single but did not manage to make an impact. Neither did the follow-up, the lovely mid-tempo ballad "The One You Love".  I was a fan back in the mid 80's and I wanted to post two songs by the group.  They did manage to get a video done for their other track "The One You Love" Enjoy!!

I like the collaboration with Taio and Luda. I like the video and it is very fitting for a dance track. Lady Gaga and Courtney Act perform at Nevermind, Sydney

Australia's hottest gay nightclub, Nevermind, hosted Lady Gaga in Sydney in Monday July 11 for an intimate live performance in front of 350 fans. Hosted by Courtney Act, Gaga sang three of her latest songs, "Judas", "Edge of Glory" and "Born This Way".  This is not hard to believe somehow I pictured Lady Gaga performing in gay nightspots.  LOL She is cool to show up at a local club like that, you gotta love it.  She perfoms so good and in this purple outfit is it me or does it look like she has something hanging between her legs? Maybe I am seeing things because she was at a a gay club..Ummmm well Enjoy!!

CHRIS BROWN PERFORMS FOREVER ON TODAY SHOW - NBC {JULY 15TH 2011}

In case you missed it. Chris Brown performed on the Today show on Friday July 15 to a record breaking crowd. He performed two of his hits the firtst song he performed was "Forever" and the second song he performed was "Yeah3X" I love Chris Brown and I wanted to post both videos. It is crazy Fox news is bitching about Chris, wow what idiots they have on that network. I wish people would stop giving them airtime or a platform to speak on. New Dance Song By Aretha Franklin Called (New Day) From The New Album

I had to post this song "New Day" by the Queen herself. It says its a dance soong, I don't see it as a dance jam. I see it as just good ole fashioned soul. I don't know why she is not getting the radio play she deserves. Her songs are timeless and you can listen to her and feel the passion she shares in each of her songs. Instead of the media focusing on Aretha's weight then need to focus on her raw talent. She is amazing and needs to be played on the radio...maybe teach this lil young ones how it should be done. Dj Khaled got three heavy hitters of R & B together. Chris Brown , Keyshia Cole and Neyo. Wow I really like this song. It will be interesting to see if they make a video. I would love to see all these artists together in a video for this song. Keyshia has such a soulful voice, she will have longevity based on her talents alone. This used to be my favorite song back in 1985. I don't understand what oldies radio stations are doing? There are songs like this that hardly ever get played. This song only has a little over 2000 views thats a damn shame. This song is so good. I get tired of the pushed music nowadays...Everyone is selfish under 25 and think they are the greatest shit alive. I miss mature REAL REAL REAL music.  Don't get me wrong I love the new talent that is out today but I also miss yester year.... WOW I never thought I would say it like that.  Anyway Thelma Houston is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She scored a number-one hit in 1976 with her cover version of the song "Don't Leave Me This Way", which won the 1978 Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. This song "You used to hold me so Tight" was produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.  Well enjoy the trip back to 1980's you knew little about. 

Kaoma - "The Lambada" and fast forward a few decades Don Omar "Taboo" reunite the little boy & girl from the original video

Here is the 1989 smash hit.  Notice the two little kids doing the dance in this video.  The blond girl and black boy dance the  lambada.  Now fast forward to Don Omar's "Taboo" video posted below.  The story shows that the little boy and blond girl from the first video are grown now and run into each other.



Don Omar named this song "Taboo" and the video contnues where Lambada ended.  It is decades later and we get another version of the song. What is interesting in this video is that the two little kids that danced in the original video have reunited in this video decades later.  They are both now grown and run into each other and rediscover each other.  Interesting twist to the original song.  I like how he picked up decades later to show us what happened to the two kids who are now adults.  I like it.  I give this two thumbs way up! I don't see the big deal, it is about time we practice diversity rather than just preach about it.  I always played with different color barbies and my daughter did too.  We have to show children that people are beautiful in every shade and size.  Experiments have showed that children are conditioned at a very early age of what the societal ideals of beauty are.  It is up to us as educated adults to expose our children to all facets of beauty.  I don't see how this is a topic for debate?  I have read numerous comments online of people upset about this proposal.  How can you be mad at that? I guess the white racists are mad, they never invited a black person over to their house so what makes you think they want their kids playing with a black doll at daycare.  I think parents and people who are upset at this should blow themselves up!! Good riddens to you and your racist views and ways!

 I thik Kelly's album is going be a great success.  Her third album "Here I Am". It is set to be released on July 26th as a normal and a deluxe edition which has two original and two remixes on it.  Kelly Rowland currently can be heard on every media outlet with her hiit "Motivation"  It looks like there is a new remix of that song everyday.  I am so gled to see Kelly getting the fame she deserves.  I think she is a fabulous singer and wish her the best with the new album.  I will have all her music in my Ipod.  It would be nice to see a video with this song.  Enjoy!!

Wow this video only has almost 400 views. I would think more people would be interesting in seeing this video. I like the song and the message he is trying to convey in the song. The video is pretty good, I just enjoy his rap flow. I think like many others that he is an underrated rapper. I like the line when he says "I'd rather hold my head high and die then live and duck" I love how he says you can overcome, we need to hear hope during these hard times in the world. I hope the video gets more views and gets airtime on the radio.

California Republcian wants to split California into two states Liberal & Conservative to make a 51st state

Republicans have lost their minds yet again.  They want to split California into two seperate states.  One conservative the other liberal making our states current count at 50 rise to 51.  I think its a crazy idea but the more I think about it, maybe Republicans can make a seperate terrority altogether.  They can test out their stupid ideas of paying no taxes, stripping away medical insurance from citizens, bringing back child labor and slavery, scratching education and praying away the gay! Let us Liberals run the country the way it should be run by everyone especially the rich contributing to making our system work by paying taxes.  I agree with the Young Turks newscaster that maybe it would be a good idea for Republicans to recede into their own sections and watch how bad people suffer under their dictatorship.  If you get a chance check out the Youngturks on google.  They talk about alot of topics that are of interest to young people.  Enjoy!!

Just when you thought this song was out of your mind for good, like a bad faded memory. Vanilla Ice has made a resurgence with MattyB remaking "Ice Ice Baby" I know Vanilla got alot of negative hype when he came out but I remember people jamming on the song until they found out he was caucasian. I don't know what the big deal was, we are all born with vocal cords so should't all races be able to have the ability to sing? Anyway he hit the industry when this fake ass keep it real and got to be from the hood or streets campaign hit people's brainwaves. He kept it real to me, he rapped what he liked. So now its 2011 and Vanilla Ice looks the same acts the same and is the same person. So who is really real?  Here is what Ice had to say about the track back in 1990  "The way I do stuff is to go through old records that my brother has. He used to listen to rock 'n' roll and stuff like that. I listened to funk and hip hop because rock wasn't really my era. But having a brother like that, well, I just mixed the two, and he had a copy of 'Under Pressure'. Brutus the 18 ft Crocodile

This is amazing.  I remember when I was in Disney World and we rode the Jaws boat and all of a sudden Jaws pops out of the water and scares you.  This reminds me of that but this is real.  Many people grace the waters of the croc infected Australian river.  Brutus is 18 feet long and weighs several thousand  pounds.  He is what they say is the oldest living crocodile in this river.  At a young 80 years old, Brutus didn't have a problem jumping out the water.  NT News photographer Katrina Bridgeford took this amazing photograph of Brutus, on the Adelaide River, just over 100km south of Darwin, last week. Good old Brutus is missing one leg from a shark fight but he still manages to find the strength to jump leaps and bounds... You got to love nature!

I wanted to post this commercial. I found it so random that the singer, rapper, producer etc... Pharrell Williams was in this commerical and so was his song. Why the hell is Pharrell in this commercial? This is so random! I aint mad at him to make the money anyway you can. I don't know what men really worry about a womans mascara but I guess with his star power contributing to the commercial, they figure the product will sell more. Jessica Biel is the woman in the commerical. I don't think after watching this commercial that I am convinced of the Luscious Plumping mascara product. I guess marketing and promotions don't work on me that well...LOL

I love this video and can't believe I missed posting it when it came out a while ago.  I love that a REAL man brings a REAL woman flowers and treats her with kindness.  It is refreshing to see chivalry in a video.  Don't get it twisted I don't buy into that shit that chilvary is dead.  I am a independant woman but I know how to be a woman and I allow my man to be a man. Men need to stop being lazy in doing things for their ladies and they need to stick to one female to shower her with gifts and love.  You can't be a player and treat all your women right so why not just go ahead and settle down with the right woman!  I think so many people have it twisted nowadays.  This is such a feel good song.  "So In love with You" is my favorite video this week.

Will Brennan is an up and coming  rapper from Gainesville, Florida. Brennan currently has two mixtapes out The Perfect Mixtape and June 11.  This song "Let's Play" is the 3rd single off his album Road Not Taken  The Perfect Mixtape samples hits from artists such as Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and Usher.  I like the flow of his rap stlye.  I think this is a relaly good song.  The video is pretty good too. With only 190 hits on youtube, I hope he gains alot more popularity than that.   I give two thumbs up!
