Wow I love this song even though I can't understand what Melissa is saying. It is Arabic The word ya in Arabic is like oh you or something similar, it is used when you are addressing a certain person..yalli literally means the one who and naseeni means forgot me (masculine). Myriam Shehab better known as Melissa is a Lebanese singer born on the 9th of February, 1982 in the south of Lebanon. She came together with Akon in 2009 to do this song.
.I wonder why this never made it to the airwaves of America. I guess too much international flavor for the average joe. Anyway I wanted to share a another side of Akon and his brilliance at work. Enjoy!!
