Mico played music with his brothers, Ricky and Chris, for years in Illinois In 1985 Mico went solo and moved to Cincinatti Ohio to work as a writer with Bootsy Collins , soon after landing a solo recording contract with CBS(columbia).. "Instant replay" ..13 Bilboard .. "misunderstood" ..50 Billboard .. "Star searchin ..70 Billboard .. This album also noted Mico as one of the pioneers and legends of the talk box , an instrument made famous by Mico and Roger Troutman .. Mico also wrote and produced songs on many other artists throughout the 80's and 90's Mico took a leave from the states to tour asia and worked in tokyo japan as a vocalist through most of the 90's returning to the the states in 1999 landing in las vegas and makeing it home,.. Mico is currently working on a new solo project called "The Parking Lot" an album that takes Mico back to his P-Funk roots, due to release march 2008, also produceing a few artist for his own label (kaleco music) Source: Mico Wave myspace page.
