Wale (Feat. Jeremih & Rick Ross) - "That Way" video

I like this song especially Jeremih's vocals, he has a really good voice.  The video needs a better theme its the same concept over and over again.  Maybe there is only one art director for all videos nowadays I dont know?  Wale's part is pretty good but I am not the biggest Rick Ross fan.  I do like this collaboration though.  I give the song two thumbs up but the video doesn't get my vote.  Enjoy!!

There is a really cool sight called HISHE which features cartoon clips of how movies should have ended.  You have to check it out.  I know that you and I sat through 9 hours of this "Lord of the Rings" crap when it could have been all summed up in 15 damn minutes.   I thought this was hilarious.  This is my job to find things to share with everyone.  Check out their site, they do all kind of movies.  LOL

Here is Lenny Kravitz' new video for "Stand" from the forthcoming album 'Black And White America" out August 22 in Europe and August 30 in the US. Lenny Kravitz as Bart Billingsworth, Desmond Richie and Bubba Washington. The video reminds me of an Outkast video...it is very creative and fun.  I like all of Lenny's music.  He is a very talented musician.  He is also not a bad actor. I wonder if he will do more films.  I remember his role in "Precious" was small but it was pretty good.  We should relaly be hearing more of Lenny's music on the radio...who even knew he had a new album come out this week? This man is really talented.  I was impressed I know the violin is a hard instrument to control.  I once took violin lessons as a kid and dropped out of that immediately.  My mom always wanted to play the violin so her passion was forced onto me which I hated! I never was into classical music but back then I didn't think about playing top 40 hits like this guy is doing.  Evolution of the mind is a wonderful thing.  Enjoy!! LOL

Wow unless you are sleeping under a rock...the internet was set ablaze today of the news that Beyonce is now officially pregnant.  Beyonce performed this song entitled "Love on Top" on the VMA's last night and at the end she rubbed her stomach and revealed her lil baby bump while the camera cut over to the proud papa Jay-Z.  Beyonce had told reporters that she wanted to have a family by the age of 30...well she couldn't have timed that anymore perfectly.  Beyonce had told interviewres at the preshow last night that she was in fact pregnant.  Well I give a huge congratulations to the happy couple.  I have to also say I was not a huge fan of this latest album..but I really really love this song.  It reminds me of a George Benson song.  I would love to see a video for this song...We shall see if that will happen.  In any case I give the song two thumbs way way way up and give my blessings to the Carters new announcement.  Enjoy!!!

I cannot wait to see this new show H8R. Mario Lopez is hosting this new show that showcases celebrities going head to head with real people who hate them. The goal is to win over the haters. I think Mario Lopez is gonna have a hit like Ashton had with Punked. In this clip Snooki from the Jersey Shore confronts a guy who hates her. I think the premise for the show is a good idea.  I have read so many cynical critics give this show a bad rap..I say screw the main stream media outlets.  I think H8R will be a suceess, be sure to catch the new show airing on the CW in September 2011.  I will be glued to this show..YupYup

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Flame Young niggaz Video

This song has the beat that sticks with you.  I am a huge fan of Waka Flocka Flame and him teaming up with Gucci Mane makes this a win win situation all around!!  This is how we do it in the A! LOL Aside from the thugs, goons, pimps, gang signs, dread shaking, hos, hood shit, and so on..this song has a good track to it and I can easliy see this climb up the charts.  The radio stations will probably censor out the offensive word but I can still see it in the top 10.  I see art as an expression so I don't focus on what others perceive as negative imagery.  I just see two artists who have a hustle in their music and are doing the damn thing.  I give the song and the videos two thumbs way up!! Amazing Magic tricks

I don't know how he does it but these are some of the most amazing magic tricks I have seen in a long time.  I know people are trying to coin him the David Blane of Asia.  David Blane is also an amazing magician.  I swear I rewinded this video clip over and over again to see how he did the trick.  I think the trick with him putting his arm through the glass is the most amazing trick..How in the hell did he do that? I have a feeling we may see more of this amazingly talented magician in out side of the world.  He is better than alot of magicians I have seen on America's got talent.  With this video going all over the web, maybe this guy will get his big break.  Enjoy!!

Beyonce's new single 1+1 is out on video. For all you Beyonce fans I am sure the visuals of this video will be appealng to the senses. Beyonce can never disappoint. She is so talented and always ahead of the game. I love the visuals of her hair in this video. Beyonce and her husband Jay-z are still putting out songs and collecting that wealth. I saw people critizing this video sayin that Beyonce did not say the work algebra correctly. People will always have somethhing bad to say or point out. I say keep moving, going and working hard. I had read so much negative pres on this album but it seems to be doing just fine...Damn those reviews and peope who call themselves critics. I give this song and video two thumbs up!! Enjoy!!

Erik Estrada and george Lopez fued continues

I like George Lopez and do not think his show should have been cancelled.  To give you a little background on this fued between Erik and George it all stems from an incident that happened many years ago. Lopez frequently mentions his dislike for Erik Estrada. According to Lopez, he met Estrada when he was a teenager and Estrada was in the zenith of his career. Estrada refused to shake the teenager's hand, and Lopez has disliked him ever since. Lopez mentioned the story while guest-hosting The Jim Rome Show, and saying "Fuck that puto." In his comedy special America's Mexican, Lopez uses this as a warning to everyone that celebrities should always be nice to their fans because they do not know who the fans will grow up to be.  Source:Wikipedia.   He went to ask Erik Estrada and apparantly was snubbed by the then Chips star Erik Estrada in the late 1970s.  In response to George Lopez show getting cancelled I came across this article on Rueters by Tim Molloy which features Erik Estrada going in on George..WOW

Aww the magic of Mick Jagger, I am a huge rolling Stones fan, in fact they are my favorite rock band of all time.  Mick Jagger has a way of entertaining us just by his  dance moves alone.  This song "Move Like Jagger" which will be on Maroon 5 album features the wonderful Christina Aguilera.  I am really feeling this song and video.  I love how they are giving major props to a living legend.  I really don't know alot aobut Maroon 5 biuut I do like Christina's soulstress voice.  I give two thumbs up for the song and for the video.  I like it.

 

Lil Wayne's new video- "How to Love"

This is a really good video that touches on alot about our everyday living.  It reflects two worlds that the girl could be based on the choices made in life.  You have to be able to look at the video and really see what is being said.  I don't think it is meant to glorify bad decisions some people make.  I think it shows us that the choices we make will result in the outcome of our lives.  We all have two roads we can travel down, the wrong road and the road to success.  Many of us have driven on each road and may from time to time even after becoming successful travel the wrong way.  Life is about choices and the choices that are around us determine how our lives will be lead.  I have often said that some choices women make are a result of coming up from a broken home.  We can change that for the next generations to come by committing to marriage and real strong unions.  I love the fact that Lil Wayne chose to use his star power to really make a huge statement in this video.  Whether people hate it or him or not, the fact remains that poor choices will result in poor outcomes.  I give the video two thumbs wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy up!!! I admire here coming out and saying that Marilyn Monroe was disturbed which is so true. Marilyn Monroe was a troubled woman and why we choose to idolize her I don't understand it. I personally was never a big fan of Marilyn Monroe. I always thought she was thrown into the Americana iconic mode because she was a bimbo blonde whore who slept around and that made her famous. So for all the people who talk about Kim Kardashian starting out the way she did isn't that being a hypocrite? Marilyn was nothing more than a fat ugly little whore for the masses of conservative men who had their woman locked up at home. Roscoe Dash makes this song I don't care what anybody says!!..Roscoe's voice is what this song needed! I never really have followed Maino's career but I know with this song he will probablly make it on alot of countdowns.  Roscoe Dash released his third mixtape Dash Effect on August 3, 2011. This is an interesting collaboration but if it works it works.  It's nice to see people in videos happy, smiling and partying their asses off.. I love this song....The British/Irish girl band The Saturdays have a new video "All Fired Up" whichs make you wanna get up and dance. The Saturdays said that fashion is a huge part of the band, saying people look up to them as their iconsAfter the release of "Notorious" the band released a clothing line with high street store, Miss Selfridge. The t-shirts with feature lyrics from the bands song; "Notorious" and "Higher" with the lyrics on T-shirts saying. 'I'm Notorious' and 'Whatcha Doing Saturday Girl?' slogan tees. Some have dubbed Bangs the worst rapper alive...I beg to differ. I think this is a nice little rap song about him and his date enjoying that movie and popcorn. He keeps emphasizing that he wil get the popcorn...that is funny. I guess he wants to make sure that his girl gets the popcorn with the movies. Have you ever gone to the movies without popcorn, it kinda sucks without the popcorn. I see why Bangs is emphazing the popcorn in this song. He sounds like he listens to alot of 50Cent records...LOL I give him two thumbs up to record this and videotape this attempt to be seen and heard in a country that has seen so much chaos. I wouldn't call him the worse rapper, I have heard cats from the United States rap about worse things. This is a refreshing look into how hip hop has really influenced the world around us. Ashford & Simpson's Nick Ashford Dead <- Click here to read the entire story. This is sad sad news. Nick Ashford the very talented duo behind Ashford and Simpson died of throat cancer. His wife Valerie Simpson and his kids were by his side. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. This is a hell of a loss in the music world. Trey Songz stopped by Fox Business to talk about his projects.  He also talked about his fragrance deal with Rocawear.  He mentioned his music and how he is writing his own music and has taken on ventures in acting as well.  He has a very savvy business attitude and recognizes he is perfect to brand a  men's fragrance line.  I like to see people doing big things and bringing their talents to the table.  This cologne might just might make it on my Christmas list for my man.

I love this song, the lyrics are so inspirational .  The video is in production the last I read about it.  Both Nicki and Rhianna are two of my favorite artists out now.  They each have their own magic and when together wow does that magic take us to a whole nother level.  I am surprised this song didn't get as much press as it should have.  I have read that the video is in production as we speak.  I can't wait to see the video when it is finished.  I give the songs a huge huge thumbs up!  I really am feeling this song.  I can't wait to see the video!! This song really has worked on me, when I first heard it I didn't care for it.  for those of you who are not familiar with the group Bad Meets Evil, they are out of Detroit and consist of Eminem and Royce da 5'9".  Bad Meets Evil split up in early 2000s, after Royce fell out with Eminem's group, D12. Kim Kardashian is now a married women! The star studded wedding took place yesterday in a beautiful ceremony. Kim wore a Vera Wang designed gown and the theme of the wedding was black and white. Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the isle and lil Mason was the ring bearer. Almost an hour before the wedding took place Kris the groom tweeted this.

I like the remix just as well as the orignial version.  I think Trey Songz part on this song is really good!  I know there was already a video for the original version of this song but I am not sure if there will be a video for this remix version of the song.  I have to give the remix two thumbs up!Enjoy!!!

If you remember she had a beautiful song a few years ago called "Say How I Feel"  She has a very distinctive sound which to me is an eclectic mix of neo soul, jazz and R&B.  She was born in Accra, Ghana to a Welsh mother, who was a singer, and an Ashanti father, who was a guitarist.[1] She was raised in Ghana, India, and the United Kingdom, where she eventually settled. This is a very funny video. I almost thought it was real but after reading the comments on youtube i realized that this is Fez from "That 70's Show" This video had to be a joke its so stereotypically done. It almost reminded me of Ricky Martin's "Livin la Vida Loco" but to the extreme! I could actually see this song if it had been released to a major label blowing up the charts by now. I am assuming that the video is only 1:56 because its joke. Well anyway I enjoyed the song and the video is funny...I give the song and video two thumbs way up! Enjoy!!

From his "All about You" album which was released last year, this song called "Love Don't Change" has some amazing lyrics. I wish this song would have been release as a single and exposed on the airwaves a little more than his "Birthday Sex" song. This song has much better meaning and the writing of the lyrics are like poetry to describe love. I wanted to post the song because the words hit me and needed to be shared with everyone who reads this blog. Love is a wonderful thing! Jeremih has a nice voice and I would have loved to see a video for this song. Oh well listen to the entire song and Enjoy!!!

Ok some times I'm in the mood for some alternative type music or trance or house music.  I don't know what category this one falls into.  This video is one of the bizzare weird videos thats makes you say What the Hell!?? With that being said I have to say I am liking this song. Planning to Rock are a Swedish electronic music duo from Gothenburg, formed in 1999. They help fight againsy discrimination towards Romani people (gypsies) in Europe.  What I found the most fascinating about this band is their influences which include southern hip hop...WOW their music is no where near the genre of hip hop but its cool that they mentioned it. They named the following as influences:  Sonic Youth, Kate Bush, Le Tigre and Siouxsie and the Banshees, and also techno, grime and Southern hip hop. Damn Lil Wayne puts out a new song and in three days its up to a couple million views..now thats power. The song is an instant hit. I love the background music that they chose for the song. I am a Lil Wayne and Drake fan so there isn't too much that they have done wrong as far as I'm concerned. The lines they rap are original and makes you think about life. I am in love with this new song...I would love to see a video for this one...watch this song climb the charts real fast. I give the song two thumbs way way up. Enjoy!!

Rihanna is the spokesmodel for 100% coconut water. She drew inspiration of being in this ad campaign from growing up in Barbados. Ok I don't know how this happened but this Mac Miller video entitled "Donald Trump" has gotten over 21 million views on youtube in a 5 month time frame...I posted the video by Mac Miller and I must say I liked his flow, I wouldn't go as far as comparing him to Eminem like Trump did in the 2nd video I posted.  Mac Miller includes Big L, Lauryn Hill, The Beastie Boys, Outkast, and A Tribe Called Quest among his influences.^[4] He also has a close relationship with fellow Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa, saying "Wiz has been a big brother to me with this music thing so far. If you are anywhere in the ATL, you have heard this song bumping on the radio.  College Park natives Two Chainz consists of Tity Boi (Tauheed Epps) and Dolla Boy (Earl Conyers).  They created the acronym Playaz which stands for Preparing Legal Assets for Years from A-Z. The duo put all their money together to release their independent album United We Stand, United We Fall. The album had features from Lil Fate, I-20 and others from the Disturbing tha Peace family. They were introduced to Ludacris by Lil Fate and soon became good friends as they all shared the same dream. Unfortunately, Playaz Circle ran into bad luck. Tity Boi was shot and Dolla Boy incarcerated. Their career was at a standstill. After hearing their misfortune, Ludacris reached out and then signed them. They have also been in a commercial with Ludacris for the "Two Miles an Hour" video. Later Tity Boi started a solo career. Also he started the new aliases Two Chains, Mr. Hair Weave Killa. I have to say this gentleman can really sing...he has a great voice.  I am a huge fan of Goapele, she has a beautiful voice and it is distinctive as well. This song should be all over the radio stations.  It is very well done and the video is simple and fits the song well.  I give the vdieo two thumbs way up and I love the video...I love to hear people who can really sing on the big screen.  Mateo and Goapele sound woderful together.  I would love to see a ballad come from them.  I love this song it will be in my top listening playlists on my Zune player... It gives you a really good feeling and a really good vibe. I am a huge Lenny Kravitz fan and Drake is one of my favorite rappers so how can you go wrong with this all star lineup? I would love to see a video for this song.. I can see meadows of sunflower fields with Lenny playing on his guitar. I give this song two thumbs way way up. Everytime I hear these type of anthem songs I think of Michael Phelps (Gold Medalist winner in Olympic Swimming) because back in 2008, he told reporters that Young Jeezy was one of his top eight influences. That was a hell of a shout out...Jeezy returned the love by saying Michael Phelps was the snowman of swimming. LOL With a song like this one entitled "Win" this has got to be inspirational before a swim meet for Mr. Phelps. The "Pretty Brown Eyes" hitmakers are back with a new album entitled “7.″ The video “Walk On” has a familiar face we should all remember Cole from "Martin”  This band  has not changed their style or sound.  Mint Condition was discovered by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in the late 1980's.   They put out the megahit ballad "Pretty Brown Eyes (Breaking my heart) and that song shot up the charts reaching the R&B top 5 (#3), and the Pop Top 10 (#6)  Their new song has a nice sound to it..I hope it gets some radio airplay.  I give the song and the video two thumbs way up! Chavez was not credited for the song and later sued Kravitz in 1992. She received an out-of-court settlement, and gained a co-writing credit.[4] Producer Kravitz sampled the intro found on Public Enemy's instrumental, "Security of the First World",[4] and used it as the basis of the song. Aww the artistic expressions of Lady Gaga...it makes me love her even more.  This song reminds me of an Elton John song.  She reminds me of his style in music especially on this song.  I always get excited seeing a Lady Gaga video because she is so clever and talented.  I love the chereography the makeup, the outfits and her performance.  She definitely has that IT factor that alot of artists wished they had. Lady Gaga gets a double thumbs up for the song and the video! Kanye West and Prince Jamming on Stage at Swedish Festival

As the footage shows Prince was jamming on stage at his concert in Sweden. People get on the stage and start dancing with him then here comes Kayne West who pops out of no where and starts rapping. Kayne gets the crowd pumping West didn't perform with Prince, but he did take the mic to yell, "Now everybody throw your hands in the sky right now. Let me hear you say, if you feel alright, say hell yeah!" I have had the honor of being at two Prince concerts and he never disappoints.  I am wondering if Prince knew beforehand tha Kayne would pop up and join in? It was worth seeing.  I love Prince and Kayne is a great rapper! Enjoy!! 

YC "I Know" video

This is my favorite song off YC's album. I know he blew up the charts with his megahit "Racks" but I love this song just as much.  I call this video balling on a budget....lol because it doesn't look like it took too much to make it.  It does what it needs to do to accompany the song.  There is already a remix of this song featuring Ace Hood. Everyone is doing a remix nowadays.   I like the song and the beat, it is a perfect song to listen to when you are at the gym working out. As far as the album "Racks" and "I Know" are the two songs I regularly listen too.  They are high energy and get you moving on that exercise bike.  I give the video and the song two thumbs way up!
