Rhian Benson is back with a new album. If you remember she had a beautiful song a few years ago called "Say How I Feel" She has a very distinctive sound which to me is an eclectic mix of neo soul, jazz and R&B. She was born in Accra, Ghana to a Welsh mother, who was a singer, and an Ashanti father, who was a guitarist.[1] She was raised in Ghana, India, and the United Kingdom, where she eventually settled. Benson began playing piano and guitar and writing songs and poetry at an early age. Before pursuing a career in music, she attended the London School of Economics and gained a degree in econometrics. She continued her education at Harvard University.(Source: Wikipedia). This is her second album The album redefines modern soul as the Mobo Award winner [6] drapes her voice across a soulful collection of starkly pulsating electronic grooves.
